Writing is so hardddddddddd

I mean I had fun writing that one-shot earlier but doing chapter stories is like "I have to write this" -> "Am I going to ever finish it?" I also have an unreleased story that I've been working on but I haven't written for that in about a month. Thinking about doing a halloween themed one-shot, maybe. ...with a story idea. I've been writing more often, but it hasn't been the Telescope. It's not a one-shot, either. I know I started a lot of fics I haven't finished, but I absolutely LOVE the concept of this new story I came up with. I've written more for it 3/4 of the past days, and I'll probably write some more for it tonight, as well. I've already reached over 1,000 words but I think I'd want to make the chapters around 3k or more. I'm mostly gonna write and worry about chapters later.

I'm giving some slight assistance in this story. My buddy Salnalus wanted to work on a new story so yeah! Read! For us! He tends to update quicker than me, anyway.

Also I'm sorry about not updating in a while... I've gotten some work done but I... I need to do more. But the next chapter of The Telescope is on its way!

...very frustrating to me atm. I'm not sure what to do with it. I'd feel absolutely terrible about cancelling it because I feel it'd be incredibly disrespectful to my editor and followers to that story. Unfortunately Sleepless in Ponyville and my further reading on feels like my story isn't very original or creative. I'm not as proud of it as I once was and I don't know what to do with it.

Well... I got two ideas for one-shots, one a comedy and almost trollfic (depending on how your define trollfic) and the other a much more serious fic.

I already started working on the comedy, but the serious fic has more potential to be better. I'm not guaranteeing that I won't release both, but I'll probably write one before or after my next update to The Telescope.

So yeah, which would you prefer to read?

Also: The comedy will star Pinkie Pie while the srsfic will star Octavia.
