I read. I write. I edit. I Twidash. But above all else, I'm just a regular guy. Shoot me a PM if you have a question.

Mamihlapinatapei; a meaningful look, shared between two ponies, both wishing the other will initiate something that neither wants to start.

Celestia has been here before. It's not the same, it never is, but it always ends the same way. She's seen it all before, and no matter how inevitable it feels, she's never been the biggest fan of Fate. She just needs to know why it keeps happening.

Everypony has a guilty pleasure or two. Those things about yourself you hide from even your closest friends. For some, it’s a simple book or song that they’re embarrassed about liking. For others it’s a secret hobby they don’t want others to know about. They make you feel bad, but you can’t stop enjoying them. Can’t deny you like it.

Rainbow Dash’s guilty pleasure is Twilight. Even if she hates herself for it. Even if she knows it’s wrong.

After all, what would Rarity say?

On a late-night flight around Ponyville, Rainbow Dash inadvertently stumbles across a friend in the middle of a crisis. Handling it with all the grace and poise she's known for, Rainbow immediately sticks her hoof in her mouth. Now she's promised to help Twilight Sparkle with her problem, no matter what. Rainbow Dash doesn't leave her friends hanging, after all. Even if the subject matter is outside her comfort zone.

Neither of them could have guessed the ways that one promise would change their lives for the better.

Set after seasons 2/before season 3. Rated teen just to be safe for some mentions of sex down the line.

Twilight was abandoned by her friends and even her teacher in favour of a pony they had just met; Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. After it was all over, they apologized, and Twilight said it was alright, but was it really? Could she really just forgive them so easily for flat out abandoning her and not even trying to find her when she went missing? Dash doesn't think so, and she's going to get the real story if it's the last thing she does, even if it means her own secret coming out.

Look, I'm gonna be honest; you know those really dumb, melodramatic soap operas? This is basically that. Call it a guilty pleasure of mine, but sometimes I like to indulge myself.

A journal was found. Old and weathered with years untold. The first entry was dated yesterday:

My name is Twilight Sparkle, and for the last 33 days I've been stuck in a time-loop, repeating the 23rd of March, 2 A.R. It is still unknown how the loop started, nor how I can end it. All I can say with any amount of certainty is that time for the rest of the world resets every night, and every morning I wake up it is the morning of the 23rd.

”I think this is best for both of us,” Twilight had said, with the kind of smile that betrayed no joy in what she was saying, ”I think this is what we both want, too.”

It was what she wanted. They'd needed to break up. It wasn't working.

At least, that's what she told herself. Every day for a month, every night when her bed felt too big, too empty.

It was what she wanted.

It had been mutual.

Rainbow Dash wakes up to Twilight Sparkle standing at the foot of her bed in a wedding dress. Surely, things can't get any stranger... can they?

Now with a fantastic audio reading by the wonderful Skijarama! Link!

(He also made the cover art that I totally stole. Because he's just that awesome, I guess.)

Chapters (1)

For Twilight, her relationship with Rainbow Dash couldn't be better. She can't help but be happy whenever they're together, and the usually abrasive pegasus has shown her softer side. Recently, however, Twilight's started to notice that there's something on Rainbow's mind. Something bothering her about their relationship, and Twilight's determined to find out what it is. The answer she gets might just confuse her more.

After all, when it comes to something as subjective as emotions, there's no handy reference guide to tell you how you're feeling.
