So, good news people: I'm actually getting to work on finishing up the last chapter of the current arc of "In Somepony's Shadow". Happy Hearth's Warming Eve gift, I guess (heh). Overall, if I had to go back and redo this, and bit more experience writing fanfiction and not RPs, I'd be tempted to say the pacing could have been a lot better, more drawn out conflict. So, I got some feedback on Mid-Lesson Snack Break I should have probably gotten before publishing, but I took it into account and kind of rewrote the whole last bit of it and added an extra 1000 words or so ^_^". So for anyone who had been reading or watching it, might suggest going back again. Hey, so, you might have noticed I removed the "Romance" tag and removed it from the "Shipping" group. After giving it much thought, I decided the story would in fact work better if I didn't try and make it into a romance. There might be some occasional teasing here and there, and there's always a chance down the line that it could revert back, but as is, I think I can write it better without having to worry about romance than if I try and force it in.
