...when a song like this sums up your mood.
A lonely pony amidst the darkness, ever longing for companions to share the night with.
...when a song like this sums up your mood.
I've Been silent here for way too long, but that's mostly because I've had little progress to report and didn't want to waste anyone's time with inane natter about my personal issues and such. Those of you that hang out on the Lunaverse boards know that I've still been active in community, despite being stuck on how to write the next chapter of Elements of Insanity. The good news is that Ch6 is basically done already so once I figure out how to make Ch5 workable, expect a fairly
...here's another author you might also want to check out. His name is Mally, and most of you should recognize him as one of the guys I keep crediting for turning the garbage I write into something halfway readable. He just published his first work here on FiMFiction, Secrets of the Everfree, and I'm totally telling you all to go give it a read. It has nothing to do with
I've been making some real headway on EoI:Ch3 (~1900 words, which probably puts it at around 75%), but it still may be a bit before it's finished. I haven't hit any writers block per se, but progress has slowed. Mostly it's just fleshing out the details and bridging a few scene transitions, or in other words, the boring stuff. Oh, and finishing up the lyrics for the song, as baring some last minute change, I'm doing one of those again this chapter. That part isn't boring, but it is a little
Not that anyone should care about my personal life, but...
So, this last Thursday I was at my hometown Wal-Mart where I found 17/24 wave 3 blind bags; snagged those up on the spot. Next day I got up bright and early to do the rounds of other Wal-Marts in the surrounding area to see if I could roundup the remaining 7.
No real updates on any of my fics, so sorry if you came here only looking for news on that. I promise I haven't abandoned Elements of Insanity and at the very least I am committed to introducing Twilight's entire band of misfit failures, but work is proceeding slowly and interspersed with two new Lunaverse fics I want to publish.
...
I'm not there.
Seriously, why didn't I take the opportunity when I had the chance? It's not like I lacked the time or money, and all the signs were there. They had to expand the venue. John "freekin" de Lancie singed up to appear, and the guest list only got better from there. Yet I foolishly decided it wouldn't be worth going when I had no local friends to go with me, nor any particular online friends to meet up with.
So, I finally wrap up Griffin Over the Line today. Figured now would be a great chance to take some time off, rest and recuperate. Yeah... that didn't happen.
