I've Been silent here for way too long, but that's mostly because I've had little progress to report and didn't want to waste anyone's time with inane natter about my personal issues and such. Those of you that hang out on the Lunaverse boards know that I've still been active in community, despite being stuck on how to write the next chapter of Elements of Insanity. The good news is that Ch6 is basically done already so once I figure out how to make Ch5 workable, expect a fairly quick succession of update (including Ch7 with any luck since I've already got it pretty well mapped out); what comes after that is still kind of up in the air though.
Before I move onto my next announcement I want to reiterate that I am still committed to finishing Elements of Insanity, or at least getting the team assembled before maybe turning it over to another author to figure out what to actually do with them (though I've got at least three ideas of where I think the story might go). I am NOT in any way abandoning that fic and will still be working to resolve my hang-ups. That said, someone I respect and admire pointed out to me that I really do need to get back to writing more regularly, so as such I've decided to revive an older project, one I started before joining the Lunaverse. I do feel kind of guilty to leave hanging those of you who have been patiently waiting for more of L!Twilight's crazy antics and misfit recruits, but so far trying to force it out hasn't been getting me much of anywhere, so for next few weeks I'm going to try seeing if a side project loosens up the ol' creative juices.
Anyway, this new fic should be going in the pipe about the same time as this blog upload, so baring approval issues it should be going live in the next few to several hours. As I said, it was started before I joined the Lunaverse so it has nothing to do with that continuity, which means I'm not technically asking any of you who only track my work for that reason to read it, however, if you like my work in general, I'd be happy to have the readers. It may not be the Lunaverse, but this fic will still star the one, the only, the *GREAT & POWERFUL TRIXIE*, though more so as she appeared on the actual show, or at least that's where it will start. This fic is also a crossover work and will feature Trixie flung outside of any experience she's familiar with and forced to exploring a whole new world where magic doesn't quite work the way she familiar with it (also there might be an odd fellow with a blue box involved somewhere along the way).
So anyway that's what's going to be happening for a bit. Again, I would like to apologize to those I have kept waiting so long, and I hope you will all wait it out just a little longer.

Not a problem. Mally already gave Ch1 a first pass (though a second set of eyes is always welcome), and Ch2 is only half-done, but hoping to have ready for proofing sometime this weekend.
