What's your opinion on Chapter 1: Listless Wings?

I've heard some thoughts by people mentioning it's the worst of the story, since it's rather hard to get through. Boring. Snoozefest. Zzz.

Others say it gives good characterization on Novell and Whisper, establishing their relationship for later. It introduces the parents of Novell, who are minor characters, but helps with the goodbye in Chapter 3.

So The Bureau: X-COM Declassified is fun and entirely addicting. Due to this, there won't be any updates until I beat it (and it's a reasonably long game, especially when you read and talk to everyone available like I do.) So, yeah. Sorry.

Keep in mind that I post the word count of what I'm currently working on, on my profile. If you want to see when the next one is close to coming out (and I've been doing good these past two days about writing), please look there.

For instance, Chapter 5 of Strive is already done and waiting to be edited, while I'm almost halfway done with Chapter 6.

They're short chapters, but whaddyawantfromme, eh?

Well, I'll tell you.

First off, I'm going to finish Strive and I may attempt to finish A Mssing Note after that.

The I'm going to work on the sequel to Unmarked and hopefully waste less time getting it finished than Unmarked itself.

Again, the Professor's Logbook is still open for anyone who wants to try their hand at a story in the Unmarked-verse. Just let me know and I'll work it out with you.

Other than that, do you guys have any questions or concerns?

Also, question, since I forget and I don't really want to read through 160k words of story, but have I gone into Rez and how his egg came to be? Anyone remember? I know it's been like a year since most of you read it... but it's been longer for moi.
