I got the idea from "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom.

Six years ago, the once peaceful land of Equestria was plunged into a brutal Civil War between the New Lunar Republic in the north, and the Solar Empire in the south. Both sides refuse to back down and the Elements are divided between the two nations. The future of Equestria is uncertain.

Alliances will be formed, friendships will be tested, battles will be fought, an old foe will rise, and the fate of Equestria hangs in the balance.

Here is war from the eyes of those living it. From the lowest private, to the world leaders.
