"Regular Updates" he said... plus new short! · 9:09pm Mar 12th, 2013
So, yeah, I did say I'd try to post things on a regular basis, didn't I? Unfortunately that promise was made immediately prior to my life up and exploding on me.

WARNING: This post has nothing to do with Valentine's Day, and everything to do with the fact that I have another big important deadline and the last thing I have time to do is write an essay about ponies. It's a post about why I think that the big S3 finale spoiler is a bad idea—but mostly it's about why I care so much in the first place, and maybe a look at what there is to care about. It's probably not wholly or even remotely original, but I hope you'll indulge me by reading on.
So, yeah, The Lessons of Eternity went up on Equestria Daily earlier today. Doesn't actually have a "story" tag at the moment but I'm going to see if I can fix that.
So, if you're reading this you're probably aware that a couple days ago I uploaded a story.
And, after that story has spent slightly over a day in the top slot of the featured box, I guess all that I can say is:
Although that's slightly less self-aware coming from a guy who never said "You like me" in a wry, witty way in a film.
So I wrote a new thing. It's rather different from my usual in that it's very much not a comedy... I'm not entirely sure I'd call it "Sad" either, but it's the closest fit. It's more of a serious drama-type deal with some sad tones to it, but it's designed to be intense more than to make you weep.
I'm still working on my big senior final essay, which is a fancy way of saying I'm still blogging for my handful of followers. Today's topic: Opening themes!
So let's get this out of the way--I'm a huge fan of the opening theme. I know, I know, "they serve no storytelling purpose," or "I don't want to see the same thing every time I watch an episode." I hear you.
But you're wrong.
Twilight hasn't gotten really annoyed at anything.
This is a problem.
(Lalalalala, final senior paper is making me procrastinate...)
(No but seriously, where's Twilight yelling at/lecturing folks this season? Those are like, some of her best moments...)
If I had more than a couple dozen readers this would be the point at which I fear that I was about to put my foot in something. No matter, then. This is OPINIONS ON THE INTERNET--SEASON 3 75% COMPLETION EDITION!
Hello to all my loyal readers and anyone else bored enough to click this.
I've found myself with a few things I'd like to say about recent events, and on the subject of writing and whatnot, a desire impeded only by the fact that almost nobody knows who I am. Nonetheless, I shall spew words into the void and see what bounces back out.
Oh, and I'm working on Good Cop, Ghost Cop. Hopefully I'll update soon? I'll try anyway.
