One pony most intrested with Middle Earth is Sunset Shimmer, who has returned to Equestria for a long deserved break. The whole idea of new magic and grand quests fascinates her, and leaves her wishing that she could've been there. And after some unforeseen anomalies with the Dimensional Mirror, she gets her wish.

But something is wrong. Bilbo seems younger, and no one has ever heard of Equestria. It appears that she has not only traveled to Middle Earth, but went back in time as well! Now she must help 13 dwarves and a hobbit slay a dragon to get their home back, all the while more, try to find a way back to Equestria.
