***WARNING***This is the project I talked about in my last blog post. Basically, this is a collection of short stories. I write one story per day during the month of August 2017, and every story will be based on previous Writeoff prompts(starting by the bottom).

Everybody agrees that Sunset Shimmer is the best Smirker in Canterlot High. Well, almost everybody. There are some people who think they smirk better, and are willing to challenge her during the Smirking Contest. They are definitely not prepared to handle Sunset and her smirk.

My life as a monster hunter is behind me. Whether I like it or not, it’s over. I had no delusion it wouldn't come back to haunt me one day or another. But when it came it wasn't for me. It hit the pony I cherish the most, my special mint, Lyra.

I tried many things to help her, many things, but in the end, it seems that the only one able to help is the last pony I want to see.

Fancy Pants doesn’t know what to expect when he receives his invitation to the royal masked ball. As far as he knows, there hasn’t been one for more than a thousand year. He is the most important pony in Canterlot; never shall be said a royal party would be held without his presence.

Spike is bewildered. When he visited the rock farm with Twilight on Pinkie's invitation, something had been off around Holder's Boulder, something that looked like magic.

What does it mean for the giant egg shaped rock? Could it be more than just a rock? Or was it only a trick of his mind?

Spike is determined to reveal the truth, and with the help of some friends, they might discover that the answers they are seeking are rather unexpected.

It has been one year since Octavia has moved with Vinyl Scratch. She has learned to know her a bit and she doesn't regret her decision. Indeed, Vinyl is a good pony, even if she is a little raw around the edges.

However, her bound with the DJ is going to be put to the test as Vinyl's inner demons resurface.

Will she stand for her roomate and help her, no matter what the cost is? Or will she give up trying, because, in fact, there isn't much she can do?

After a long day of corresponding with the new Dragon Lord, Spike can finally have a well-earned rest. However, a certain mare, freshly reformed and now living in the castle of Friendship, won't let it happen. That may have not be her intention but Spike doesn't care. He will find that pony and give her a piece of his mind.

He isn't prepared for what will follow but he is Twilight Sparkle's Number One Assistant after all, and he will make sure he lives up to this title.

Pinkie Pie has the opportunity to taste, for the first time, one of Derpy's muffins. But it is not what she has expected. Indeed, they are more than good and she is quite displeased by that.
