So, from what we've seen Starlight Glimmer seems to be the ultimate anti-pony weapon. She literally sucks the individuality out of them to make them weak and easy to control. This brings up a question though, what can she do against the non-pony sapient species? You can't really steal the cutie mark from someone that doesn't have one to begin with.
