I know I haven't exactly been very active lately (lately referring to the last several months) but I did crank out a short, two thousand word story yesterday.I'll post it sometime tomorrow afternoon. Thank you all for being patient during my down time.

Just wanted to give people a heads up on a decent alternative to Imgur now that they blacklisted the site, Imgbox.com. It was a fairly simple sign up, and the site is pretty bare bones in a good way (no flash or anything else like that slowing it down, just a basic menu and your pictures). Only issue is that you can only directly upload pics, unlike Imgur that allowed you to copy pictures from an image url. Not a big problem though. I'll definitely be using Imgbox from now on.

Quite a few people seem upset at the finale because Starlight wasn't 'punished' for her actions. I personally didn't like her backstory, nor did I like the need to throw in a Freudian excuse for her actions, but the resolution of her not getting punished and becoming Twilight's student is actually a great ending that I'll defend.

And I didn't even have to shank anyone to get through a crowd. I feel gypped. Anyways, went to Game Stop and picked up the Uncharted PS4 bundle, Helldivers, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy Type 0 HD, Bloodborne, and Fallout 4 (so fucking psyched to finally have Fallout 4).

Stop me if you've heard this one before. A race of beings that feed on a metaphor for life energy live among their prey unnoticed by most. Over time these beings have amassed a sizable following of people that consider them to just be misunderstood rather than monsters. Naturally what follows are people creating new representations of said being as the protagonist. The occasional one will even portray their prey as 'the true monsters all along', or at least as possibly the worst of the two.

Not going to say it's mind blowing or anything, but it is one of the few decent stories about depression. It finds a good balance of presenting what's wrong with the character without laying it on thick and trying to make you feel sorry for them.
