Sicarius Blade is a professional bounty hunter meant to discover and destroy the hidden Clones within society. Burnish Wheelwright is an above average metal-worker with a below average IQ that disguises his involvement in the aiding of a wanted Clones. As both stallions are drawn deeper into the Clones' struggle for survival, they both explore the real meaning of an existence.

Following the beginning of Tanks's hibernation (Tanks for the Memories), Rainbow Dash struggles with her guilt over betraying Cloudsdale for Tank. She looses confidence in the fact that she is loyal, and begins to wonder whether it is possible to be loyal to everything she holds dear without making sacrifices. When an unstoppable snowstorm starts as a result of weather equipment failures in Cloudsdale, Rainbow feels that she is completely responsible. She sets out to stop the storm in order to make up for her actions, only to be thrown into a dangerous situation.
