So I'm about 7,500 done with chapter 4. It's going to be more slice-of-life (ugh) oriented in comparison to the other chapters, which have healthy dollops of action and adventure in the mix. I know exactly when this chapter will end, so perhaps with a specific goal in mind, I might write faster. In the meantime, have a teaser. It's a mixture of dialogue and introspection.

I'm back to 2,000 or so words a day now. I'm about 1/4 done with chapter 3 too.

Hope you're enjoying chapter 2. I know I said it would be out a couple of weeks from now, but it sounded like too much of a pisstake to go almost a whole month between chapters. You're patient, I know, but I doubt you're that patient.

I imagine that chapter 3 for Grey Arbiter will take a little longer to write, since my university has had the good grace to inundate me with work. This also means fewer shorts for Detective Applebloom in the days to come. I try to get 2,000 words done a day, but I simply don't have that time right now, so I'm cutting it to 1,000 a day (it won't change the date that I get to publishing chapter 2, since it's there in first draft) for the time being.
