We ALL know about the butterfly effect, where a Butterfly flapping it's wings can cause disasters. Well, sometime before Twilight Moved to Ponyville, Applebloom got her Cutie Mark. Since she got her cutie mark she didn't know how it felt to be a blank flank and couldn't make friends with Scootaloo or Sweetie Belle. How unfortunate that the butterfly didn't flap it's wings at the right time because of a Sonic Rainboom...

Also Diamond Tiara will be a tiny bit more cruel than usual. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are still going to be together, but Applebloom, having already gotten her mark early in this story, won't be with them, instead Rumble replace her as the third crusader.
