The Grand Galloping Gala was one of Canterlot's biggest incidents of chaos since the reign of Discord and the funnest Gala Celestia could remember.

Now, morning has come and all that's left of the get-together is the disaster of a mess. As Celestia carries about her day, she can't but feel that she has forgotten something.

But what?

Ponyville, also known as ground zero... at least from the words of Queen Chrysalis. The ponies seem like they're keeping to themselves a lot lately. They must be planning something... They're ponies! They have to be! They're allowing changelings in, too! Traitors...
Soon enough, they'll know about everything in the changeling empire. The changeling empire is in danger! It is!...Should be...Probably is?
The best course of action Queen Chrysalis can come up with to send one of her most trusted agents to check out Ponyville and get ahead of the ponies - a mission which is definitely not stupid and influenced by paranoia.

Celestia's ambassador came in and bowed.
"Your highness," he spoke. "I've just returned from the foreign land called the Mushroom Kingdom. The princess would like to speak to you and discuss an alliance."
Celestia nodded and smiled.
"Gather the chariot team. We're going to the Mushroom Kingdom."

Princess Celestia travels to the Mushroom Kingdom - a country strange enough to have been made by Discord. There, a certain surprise is waiting for her. Some would say, it's just another day in the life of a princess.

Cadence and Shining Armor return home one weekend night after a visit with Shining Armor's parents.
When he asks her about her parents, Cadence resolves that Shining Armor should finally get to meet her father.

It's the third day moonrise in Canterlot High.
Sunset Shimmer has all of the power, but still hasn't gotten a clue. She steps through the portal to Equestria, thinking she's got it all figured out, but quickly finds out that's not the case.

Rainbow Dash's recklessness has usually been getting her into trouble. Lately, the consequences of her impulsive decisions have finally started to catch up with her when her wing is broken and she can't afford treatment from Nurse Redheart. Rarity recommends to Twilight somepony who could be able to help with their situation and Twilight discovers a part of her friend's past.

It was a nice day in Canterlot. There was decorations all around, bright colors, great energy. It should be a pretty layback day, but it's weird how just carrying on with an average day can be a catalyst for a fast-paced day filled with tantalizing coffee, an ancient relic, and a holiday without meaning featuring Passion Blaze.

The fall comes again this year in Ponyville. The time comes again for the annual preparations such as looking for warmer clothes, stocking up on Nightmare Night candy while it's all still cheap - You know the whole routine.
A part of that routine however that is often looked over is the look back towards the past. Sometimes it'll come in the holiday traditions or that familiar piece of candy.
Minty takes this return to the past on her usual round to the Ponyville marketplace and relives the dark and light of her own story.
Wanting to adapt some characters that would make other bronies cringe, "Why not Minty of the third generation of MLP?" I said. Don't worry, I really tried.

Finally, the opportunity of a lifetime falls in front of her. We find out just how far Lyra would go to take it.
She dons her horned, black helmet and blood-red cape becoming the latest great threat to Equestria, fully prepared to make Ponyville suffer (as best as she can at least) as she chases after her wish to have hands.
