Flash Sentry finally gets some time to come home to Manehatten. While there, he and his mother are meeting up with some old friends of theirs. However, one of those friends is somepony Flash isn't quite ready to see again.

Trixie comes to Ponyville to a less than warm welcome. She soon finds herself in the company of six of Equestria's most unlikeable ponies (and one griffon). Can these seven come together to learn the value of friendship? Can they do it without killing each other?

Spike, now 18, has come to realize that he can't stay in Twilight's castle forever. He decides that it's time to finally move out. Twilight, however, seems to have trouble accepting this. After raising Spike for so long, is she able to let him go?

Update 6/12/2014: I've done some editing to touch up some grammar errors and tidy up the dialogue a bit. No drastic changes but hopefully the little tweaks will make the story easier to read.

Spike gets an exclusive interview for the Crystal Empire's local newspaper and he couldn't be more excited. Everything goes swimmingly until the interviewer asks a surprisingly difficult question.

A mysterious stallion named Iron Ore wanders into Ponyville with serious injuries from Timberwolves. After helping pay for his medical bills, Applejack hires Iron to work for her family on the farm. She soon finds that Iron is hiding secrets from his past. What caused Iron to wander from his home and why is he so determined to hide it from everypony?

It takes strength and resolve to stand up for what you believe on and Iron has no shortage of either. However, what happens when your resolve drives a wedge between you and those that you care about?

And what does it take to get them back?
