Nimbus Cloudblazer is a newcomer to Ponyville. He came hoping to find a new life, a quiet life out of the shadow of his parents, But as a new age dawns in Equestria, he may end up getting more than he bargained for. Suddenly receiving the attention he never looked for, he'll feel he'd rather have stayed in that suddenly very comfortable-looking shadow.

But he may also realize that finally stepping out of those shadows is the best thing that ever happened to him.

This story is a sequel to Time Lord: The Story of Polaris

It has been almost one year since Nightmare Moon destroyed the Castle of Everfree, rendered the capital city uninhabitable. The court has relocated to Canterlot.

But not everything is as it seems. A mysterious sorceress has appeared, and has demonstrated her interest in a place among Celestia's court. Between her and her goal is Polaris, who has not recovered from the magic that damaged his body during the battle with Nightmare Moon.

Caught up in all of the political maneuvering is Sterling Shield, a Royal Guard. In his new posting, he guards the halls of the residence Celestia has chosen to house the government whilst the new castle is under construction. There he bears witness to the daily life of his monarch, and the proceedings of the court. But one member has caught his eye, and not in a way he ever expected.

My name is North Star. I'm a Time Lord.

I don't know how , but I'm know I'm not where I should be.

I should be in Everfree. Instead, I'm in a little town I've never heard of, and there's a princess I've never met.

On top of all of that... I don't even recognize the pony I see in the mirror.

This story will not be continued. I don't feel any real connection to the character anymore, and have decided to start fresh. My appreciation goes out to all those who have read and commented on it.

A human wakes up in Equestria, but not in the time of the Mane 6. He struggles to come to terms with this new world, full of magic and strange creatures.
