Crimson Storm, a pegasus who works under the princesses of Equestria, finds himself back in Canterlot while he awaits his next job. Everything seems normal until a pony from Crimson's past follows Crimson to the Equestrian capital bringing with him hopes of revenge. Crimson soon finds himself in the center of a hate fueled attack on the very ponies leading the nation. With only what he knows and the ponies that stand beside him, Crimson must face this threat head on or face consequences that could change the nation.

After a fight leaves Crimson Storm wounded with not much time left, he experiences a strange yet peaceful end.
