My last blog was 3 months ago. I dunno, there's not much for me to write about, at least that I feel like sharing with the world. Writing progress? Still slow. I need to figure out how to push myself. I genuinely want to write and tell stories, but sometimes my concentration is on par with Dory from Finding Nemo. Hey, so sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I had a pretty good Christmas season, and I hope you guys did too. So where was I that kept me away from the internet for so long? Mostly hanging with family- and cooking. Lots... and lots.. of cooking. Some highlights of the Christmas experience for me this year:

- Spent 4-5 hours in the kitchen preparing macaroni AND corn muffins AND both chocolate chip and sugar cookies.

Since it's pretty much impossible to explain any current events without spoilers... here's a spoiler-filled recap: A distraught Mabel runs into the woods with the wrong backpack, enabling Bill Cipher to get his hands on a dimension breaking maguffin after promising to make it forever summer or some BS. The rift's broken, it's the end of the World as we know it, and we all feel fine- mainly because we actually have a schedule now on Disney XD it looks like.

Wow, I have NOTHING for the past month!

What can I say? School duty calls. My community service hours ate up a bunch of my time, and I was barely able to keep up with schoolwork and get ANY writing done on top of that.

I've made some progress today, like doing some research on the 80s. And by "research" I mean I popped in a DVD of The Brave Little Toaster which features a musical number about the "cutting edge" technology of the mid-late 80s consumer culture.
