I love Disney, reading, writing, and of course, PONIES! As an English major I hope to improve in my writing skills and can't wait to publish. In the meantime, I will be happy just to read what's here.
So some of you may or may not have noticed I've been missing from this site for quite some time. At first it was mostly due to the traditional Catholic ritual of Lent, so I have to limit my time out here. Then there was also my need to stay away from political action for awhile, which I make the mistake of getting involved with. Then I got... get ready for this... a JOB! 
I've been away for quite some time. School has been a lot busier than I intended, and even before I started again this semester... I think I've just been losing interest around here.
My last blog was 3 months ago. I dunno, there's not much for me to write about, at least that I feel like sharing with the world. Writing progress? Still slow. I need to figure out how to push myself. I genuinely want to write and tell stories, but sometimes my concentration is on par with Dory from Finding Nemo. Who, by the way, is officially my spirit animal after some careful consideration
Dad: Good morning, sweetie. How are you this morning?
Mom: Honey, my water broke.
Dad: (laughs) Great way to start the day, right?
Mom: No, really... I think it's coming. Today.
Dad: ...
And now here I am. 
Hey, so sorry I wasn't here yesterday, but I had a pretty good Christmas season, and I hope you guys did too. So where was I that kept me away from the internet for so long? Mostly hanging with family- and cooking. Lots... and lots.. of cooking. Some highlights of the Christmas experience for me this year:
