Celestia has been invited to mediate peace talks between the Griffons and Zebras. The meeting place is on the border of the Zebras and Griffons, far away from Equestria. With Equestrian citizens coming closer and closer to becoming collateral damage from the war, Celestia must go to try and get peace from the nations. Her sister Luna has been back from the moon for over a year now. Surely she can handle the kingdom for a week.

Right?

What starts as a routine police case soon escalates into a nightmare most involved could never have seen coming. Twists and turns reveal a point of view few have ever had.

Being a soldier is something most equate to honor and the highest respecting position in the world. Some soldiers offer the ultimate sacrifice for their country, others come home in one piece. Big Mac isn't in the glory business, he just wants to serve his time and come home. He finds there is no such deal with the army.

Simple things have the biggest tendency to go awry. Habits have the biggest chance of being interrupted. "Jack" has a business meeting like any other quarter-year, yet it does not go as it always does. History has a funny way of repeating itself as she is reminded of her high school days during the predicament.

Twilight has trouble coping with her new lifestyle. Sure, her friends are there for her, but there is only so much friends can do. In the midst of self-doubt, tragedy strikes her life. With her life crashing down around her, she does something desperate, only to be met with challenges and a few surprises along the way.
