Sunflower is a young wanderer plagued by visions, thrown out of her herd she now must survive on her own

Sometimes... The ponies you love are the demons you dread... But what if... what if they never wanted you to see that they are the monsters they worked so hard to seal away?

Sunny days are always seem to be much happier days, Many ponies tend to become dim during storms, Or even on cloudy days filled with Rain. It also doesn't help that everything bad seems to happen on a cloudy day. Strange right? There may or may not be a correlation. Though one thing is for certain; Sometimes it's best to stay inside on cloudy days.

The Truth may contain some parts or scenes that some of your may find appalling. One such is where somepony is beat into the ground. There is some but not a lot of curse words. Keep this in mind while you read. This story is actually quite dark at some points and i'd rather not have people yell at me for not warning them--DO NOT READ THIS IF THESE KINDS OF THINGS BOTHER YOU.

I'd also like to point out the fact that in some way or another this is tied to A Time Before. Many of the characters and plot devices show up in this. Such as the return of a certain ancient being.. or two. Or five or fifty hundred bazillion. So please I beg of you read that or you'll be VERY confused!

Before Luna turned into NightMare Moon and was banished the sisters lived in harmony, Setting the Sun and raising the moon accordingly. But even before that they had a strong bond, Sure sometimes they got mad at eachother but it was nothing that a little negotiation from a certain green kirin couldn't handle. As they grew though, the tasks they had to take on became more and more serious and sadly though, this shattered the peaceful lifestyle they had come to know.

(Side note: The language during and before NightMare Moon's time is different from today (no derp) Therefore I took the liberty of making it so it could actually be read.
