While I never used data from Arecibo directly in my academic background, seeing a grand old instrument that has provided decades of service to science being decommissioned rather than repaired is something that's hard to cope with. Obviously, repairs should be conducted safely, but to just decommission Arecibo seems like such an inglorious end to its service.

I'm slightly disappointed that Snowflake is officially Bulk Biceps now, but that's just a name change. (Though why did he have so much trouble flying in "Rainbow Falls" when he was in "Wonderbolt Academy" and seemingly capable of easy flight?)

Also, is it just me or do the Wonderbolts seem to change what exactly they are from episode to episode? Headcanon still has them as a military unit (which allows lots of ponyfics to exist as extended fanon for me).

Made this earlier today in GIMP and Paint (I was having problems with layer masking and alpha channels).

So yeah, still no story up. My pre-reader gave me lots of comments on chapter 1 which all but necessitate a rewrite. (With the advantage of being better, of course.) In addition, taking NaNoWriMo up (try, try, trying again...) this year so hoping to use it as additional incentive to connect what I have written already with another 50k words.
