I decided to become more active in the community. I had read well over 100 fics in the past few months, but never felt the need to leave any input, beyond giving a like and a favourite. Recently, I had a cousin ask me what career I wanted to pursue, what schooling I would need, what interests me, etc. I listed off many things but it was obvious I wasn't really interested in any of them by my lackluster enthusiasm. Off hand I mentioned editing, I got really into what I was saying, giving lengthy descriptions and realized that perhaps that's what I actually want to do. Sort of like a real life cutie mark moment. This was after I had just finished reading your story, so that was why I asked if I could help edit your next chapter.

But yeah, I wanted to make sure the pacing was perfect, so it's good to know I did it somewhat right.
