After she wakes up in an unknown location Rainbow Dash finds she is going to be killed by her... best friend? One single accident and everything that was to follow.
Rainbow Dash has just woke up in an unknown location, is tied down to a table, and sees all sorts of knives and blades on a desk. Rainbow Dash realizes that she has to tell the truth now or she'll never get the chance.
This is a happier alternate ending for cupcakes (pinkiedash shipping & partial spinoff).
"Ughh" said a groggy Rainbow Dash. "Aww man my head is killing me. Where am I?" She lifts her hoof to her head, or at least tries to, but realizes her hoof is strapped to a table. Her eyes widened in fear her realization that the last words she remembered hearing was Pinkie saying "You're gonna help me make cupcakes..." Dash blacked out after that. She was unable to recall anything but those words.
Then a aroma hit her nose with it's sweet smells, the smells of freshly baked cupcakes, muffins, cookies, and all sorts of sweet candies. Then she remembered where she was and why she was there. Dash recalls that Pinkie invited her to Sugar Cube Corner then she ate one of Pinkie's cupcakes and didn't remember much after that. Realizing she must still be in Sugar Cube Corner and she started screaming "Help! Help! Someone help me!" but the words came out muffled by the gag over her mouth. She rolled her eyes, not believing she didn't see that on her muzzle before. She tried working the restraints holding her down but to no avail they were tied so well it was like one of Applejack's hogtie knots.
Then she herd hoof steps and immediately started screaming even with the gag in her mouth, trying to get whoever that was attention. She listened more keenly and realized those hoof steps where coming from the stairs leading down to this disgusting room. She stopped screaming when she saw a shadowy figure trot down the steps out of fear of who or what that was. Then the figure stepped into the light and Dash smiled realizing it was her best friend Pinkie coming to save her like the knight in shining armor Dash secretary always thought she was.
Pinkie came over and removed the gag from Dash's muzzle then the smile was visible to Pinkie's and Rainbow's smiles widened even more when they saw each other. "Pinkie thank Celestia your here, quick go get a knife from the table and cut me loose hurry." Pinkie went over to the table and grabbed a doctor's scalpel type of knife and came back over with a smile, but did not cut her loose. "Pinkie, what are you doing stop goofing around and cut me out of these ropes!" Dash said. "Oh, but why would I do that Dashie? You're going to help me make cupcakes, and you get the honor of being my first helper." Pinkie said, smile still on her face. "Pinkie I'll help you make cupcakes later stop screwing around and..." she never finished as she realized she was looking at the face of her captor.
"Hehehe get it now Dashie?" Pinkie asked. Rainbow Dash nodded her head slowly, trembling and her eyes wide with fear. "B-But I- I mean we-we are best friends right?" Dash asked. "Of course Dashie, the bestie best bestest of friends." she replied with a smile. "S-so why are you gonna do this to me? Did I make you upset o-or not do something right?" Dash asked. "Oh nonono you didn't do anything wrong your number just so happened to be drawled up as the first one. So, lets get down to business." she said drawling back the scalpel.
"WAIT!" Dash yelled "You don't have to do this you could just untie the knots and I pinkie promise no one will ever have to know about this, and we can still be the... bestie best bestest of friends." "Hmmm" Pinkie mumbled while stroking an imaginary beard on her chin with one hoof and still holding the scalpel high over her head with the other. "I don't know Dashie how do I know I can trust you? Plus you could tell anyone at anytime its just to risky."
"B-but..." Dash stammered. "No Dashie just can't risk this getting out." Pinkie said firmly.
Rainbow Dash started to sob and Pinkie's smile faded. "You're not gonna make this easy are you Dashie? Come on I Pinkie promise that I'll make this as quick as possible." Pinkie said with a weak smile. That just made Dash cry even harder. Pinkie just sighed and brought down the blade. Then Rainbow said through a sob "Iloveyoupinkiepie". The knife came to a stop within a centimeter of Dash's neck, then it fell out of Pinkie's hoof and clattered to the floor.
"What did you just say?" Pinkie asked her hair covering her eyes. "I-I said I l-love you." Rainbow said trembling from her close encounter with death. "That's what I thought you said, but why did you say that." Pinkie looked up at Rainbow tears streaming down her eyes "Those would've been your last words and you used them to tell me you love me, like love love me?" Pinkie asked. "Well yea, love love you. I don't know when this feeling started but I've had it for a while so seeing as I was about to die I didn't want to take the fact that I never told you to the grave so.." Dash stopped when she saw Pinkie pick the scalpel up and closed her eyes. Then the ropes around her hooves fell off and Dash toppled to the floor. Pinkie then threw the knife into the wall and fell to the floor.
Rainbow looked at the mare that lay on the floor of the basement crying. The mare that was about to kill her a few moments ago and was sitting there crying her eyes out and she looked like she needed a hug. Rainbow walked next to the crying party pony her mane and tail with none of its usual puffiness lay completely flat. She draped her wing over Pinkie's back who looked up at her with tears streaming down her face and muzzle, her fur all matted. Rainbow hated seeing her like this. She wanted to say something but didn't, rather comforting her with her presence until the tears stopped falling. Pinkie then stuttered "I-I-I'm s-so so sorry I..." she was cut off buy a pair of lips stopping her from saying anything else. Rainbow just wished she could keep kissing her taking any of her fears and worries away, wishing she would be able to live in that moment forever, but Pinkie pulled away.
"No you can't love me not after what I did." Pinkie said voice still slightly trembling. "Wh-what if I try to hurt you again, I'm a monster." "No you're not a monster and I know you won't hurt me, this was just a mistake and you never hurt me." Dash said "How do you know?" Pinkie asked "What if I do this again a-and I actually k-kill you?"
"Because I know you. You just weren't feeling your self. I promised you that I would never tell anyone and Rainbow Dash doesn't break a promise especially not a pinkie promise, but if you want to make sure that you will never do this Twilight could use her eggheadness and could help you out with therapy or something. You know Twilight is a great friend and I'm sure she won't tell anyone either." Dash responded. "Ok are you sure about this though?" Rainbow smiled at Pinkie and said "I'm more sure of this then I've been of anything before."
These events occurred after coming out of Pinkie's basement on the first floor of Sugar Cube Corner
"This decision is completely up to you." Rainbow Dash said pulling up a chair "I won't make you do anything you don't wanna do, and if you want this whole thing could just stay between us."
"No." Pinkie Pie responded "As much as I appreciate your support and your forgiveness I just can't ignore this. I will never ever and I mean ever try to hurt you or anyone again, but I can't promise that until I know my state of mind is at one hundred or no a thousand or even one million percent healthy."
"Ok so you want to go to Twilight's now or you wanna wait" Dash asked. "Well yea I kinda want to go now but let me close up the shop first." Pinkie responded.
Pinkie started putting things away and cleaning the counters, but they decided they would worry about the basement later. With everything cleaned and taken care of the mess in Sugar Cube Corner Pinkie flipped the open sign to closed.
"Alright ready to go?" Pinkie asked. She looked over at Rainbow and realized she was fast asleep. She smiled lovingly at her and started tearing up. She started thinking about what would've happened had Dashie not confessed her feelings for her. Pinkie wouldn't be looking at this adorable cyan pegasus sleeping. She started tearing up, trying to hold them back to no avail, and she collapsed and started bawling her eyes out. The possible reality was to much to bare, this is why she needed Twilight's help, she couldn't imagine a world without Rainbow in her life, especially not now.
After the tears were shed she got up off the floor and walked over to her Dashie smiling weakly and gently shook her gently. Rainbow's eyes slowly fluttered half open. Then she saw Pinkie smiling at her weakly and Rainbow's eyes opened completely.
"Ahhh!" Dash screamed as she shot up out of her chair. She flew up towards the ceiling still dazed from being woken up. She smashed a whole in the ceiling with her head and finally stopped.
"OW!" she said trying to get her head out of the ceiling "Well I can feel pain so I guess I'm not dead." At this point Pinkie was somewhere between laughing and crying. Was Dash still afraid of her because of what happened, or was she just surprised to be awoken by Pinkie. She didn't wait any longer she grabbed a mouthful of rainbow colored tail and pulled her out of the ceiling, and Dash landed with a crash.
"I'm sorry" Pinkie said frowning "I guess I should've known that you would still be afraid of me.
"Pinkie no I... its just... I mean ugh I don't know." In truth Rainbow was still afraid of Pinkie. Rainbow really did love her but she couldn't help but be scared. After all she was almost baked into cupcakes at the hands of her, I mean that's kinda scary right?
"It's all right I don't blame you. You have a reason to be afraid I mean I know I would be scared if I was in your shoes." Pinkie said smiling weakly. "Oh Pinkie I'm sorry." Rainbow said bringing Pinkie into a big hug. "Thank you for being such a dear friend, but I want you to know something I love you with all my heart and no amount of fear will change that, and if I die because of that love I know I'll die happy." Pinkie pulled back tears forming in her eyes, but her Dashie wiped them away. Pinkie just looked into to Dashie's beautiful magenta eyes. She knew she would never be as happy as she was now in that moment.
Then their lips met and Pinkie and corrected herself, now she truly couldn't be happier. They stayed in that embrace for what seemed like hours until they finally pulled apart.
Pinkie now still had tears streaming down her face but these were tears of joy, tears of true happiness and love. "I love you too." Pinkie said.
Ten Minutes Later
"Ok you ready to go?" Pinkie asked "Yup I'll be right out!" Rainbow responded. "Okie dokie lokie!" Rainbow started trotting down the stairs when she saw Pinkie walk out the door.
It all happened so fast, a streak of orange and gold making Pinkie squeal and sent her flying over off the porch and slid back a yard or two on the ground. Then she was tied up rodeo hogtie style within 10 seconds. Then Rainbow launched herself from the stairs to the sky outside and was greeted with an unbelievable scene. Applejack was yelling at the tied up Pinkie, and the poor pony was trembling with fear. Rainbow's usually incredibly fast reflexes and response time absolutely and totally failed her.
"You monster!" AJ yelled "How could you do this to Rainbow Dash! She was your friend and you... you bucking killed her! Well you're coming with me to Canterlot and I'll let the royal guards and Princess Celestia figure out what to do with you! And to think, you know that she told me that she loved you, and you go and do that to her! You're unbelievable you psychopath!"
"Umm uh AJ?" Pinkie said her voice trembling and quiet. "WHAT!?" Applejack yelled back.
"Look up"
"Huh?" She looked up to see the rainbow maned cyan pegasus.
"Wait how, what, ugh my head hurts." Applejack said a migraine setting in. "A-Ah saw Pinkie bring down a knife on you how are you here?"
"Look it seems we all have some explaining to do, so please untie Pinkie and let us tell you what happened." Rainbow Dash said "Ah don't know about this, but seeing as you are still alive Ah guess Ah'll listen." Applejack said beginning to untie the knots.

Oh! Ah see now, so you to are, lovebirds." Applejack said teasingly. "Yea, I mean I guess so, right?" Dash said looking towards Pinkie who nodded. "Alright now its your turn to explain how you knew what happened."
"Alright well Ah was coming to deliver a wagon of apples the Cakes ordered to Pinkie. When Ah got here she wasn't in the shop so Ah started looking around. Then Ah herd a muffled shout come from the door leading to the basement. So Ah tip hoofed about a forth of the way down so Ah could just barely see what was going on. Then Ah saw Pinkie had you strapped to a table. Before Ah could do anything Ah saw the knife being brought down towards your neck and from my angle it looked like Pinkie impaled you with it. So Ah ran as quietly Ah could out of the basement and Ah hid outside to wait for her to come out.
Then Ah had her tied up and Ah was mad thinking she killed you so Ah said some things Ah regret now and Ah should've let Pinkie explain but I was scared, and I'm glad y'all are ok."
"I'm sorry for what I did Applejack and trust me I never want to do it again." Pinkie said "That's why I was going outside, I was going to get professional help from Twilight."
"Well I'll tell ya what I promise that I won't tell anyone, as long as you don't want me to." Applejack responded.
"Oh, thank you for being such a dear friend, Applejack." Pinkie said wrapping her in a tight embrace. "Aw shucks sugar cube there isn't a need to thank me that's what friends are for." Applejack responded. "Alright" Dash said "ready to try this again?"
"Yup I'm ready to go to Twilight's house!" Pinkie responded eagerly.
"Um Pinkie?" said Applejack "Yea?" Pinkie responded "Well Ah was wondering if maybe I could help you too?" "You do, well how so?" Pinkie asked.
"Well ya know Sweet Apple Acres is quiet and peaceful so Ah thought if you need a quiet place to relax you're always welcome. It's the least I could do for ya considering my ambush on ya earlier."
Oh thank you so much, but I was wondering, could Dashie come with me?" Pinkie asked.
"Well you seem so happy and relaxed with her around, so of course she can."
"You're right Applejack I don't think I could be happier when she is around me." Pinkie said smiling at her marefriend "Well Ah had better get back to the farm, Ah'll see you two lovebirds later." Applejack said as she trotted out of the door.

"So what now?" Pinkie asked
"Well it's a bit too late to go to Twilight's house, but I do have an idea for what we could do." Dash grinned at Pinkie. "Really! Is it something fun? Pinkie asked. "Yea it's really fun. I'm used to it but I don't think you do it to often. Come on." she said grabbing Pinkie's hoof and leading her outside.
"Isn't it beatuiful?" Dash asked looking up to Luna's night sky. "Yea it really is." Pinkie said staring at the sky. "You know, I wasn't talking about the sky." Dash said smiling at Pinkie who returned it with one of hers.
Pinkie leaned in hopeing to get a kiss but Dash didn't. "Not so fast." Dash said. "This isn't what I wanted to show you." "Oh Dashie, you don't have to try so hard to please me." Pinkie responded still kind of embarrassed for getting shot down after trying to kiss her.
Then Pinkie felt her that hooves were no longer touching the ground. "Whoa!" Pinkie exclaimed as she realized she was on Dash's back. "What are you doing Dashie?"
"You know you're supprisingly light for a earth pony."
"Thanks!" Pinkie said taking that as a compliment.
"Alright you ready?"
"Ready for what?"
"Ready for this!" Dash said as she spread her wings and shot into the sky.
"Ahhhhh! Actually no I wasn't!" she screamed as she wrapped her hooves around her chest, her eyes sealed.
"Come on Pinkie you need to see this." Dash said. "See what?" Pinkie said opening her eyes slowly then her eyes widened as she saw the breathtaking view above and below. Pinkie saw the glimmering lights of Manehatten and the majestic Canterlot palace. Then she looked up and saw Luna's beautiful night sky, the brilliant white full moon and all the speckled stars spread all over the place.
"Wow." Pinkie muttered.
"Yea I know right, it's incredible isn't it. It's a real shame that only pegasi can see this. Not to many earth and unicorn ponies can see this." Dash explained. "So you haven't shown any pony else this before? What makes me so special?" Pinkie asked
"I think I really love you and I've never felt this way about another pony before. That's why you're special, because you're the only pony I've ever loved before."
Then Pinkie looked down and saw the most beautiful view of all, the cyan pegasus with the flowing rainbow mane. Then they flew to the top of the mountain Canterlot was carved into. At the peak they landed, it was flat and a good nine by nine feet, just enough space for the two of them to sit next to each other. "I have nothing to say." Pinkie said looking all around she could see Equestria bend in the distance.
"You know" Dash said "at the beginning of this day I was strapped to a table about to be killed by the one I loved." Pinkie Pie let her head hang at hearing this. "But" Pinkie picked her head up, "had it not been for that and you I would've never told you my feelings and I would not be sitting here next to the most wonderful pony in the world."
Then simple words were said "I love you Pinkie Pie"
"And I love you Rainbow Dash."
Then there lips locked just above Celestia's city and nothing would ever break their love, because even in the greatest times of darkness there will always be a light waiting, waiting to comfort you.
The sun just starting to peek through the blinds as Pinkie Pie's eyes began to flutter open. When she got over her haziness she saw the most adorable rainbow-maned cyan pegasus, Rainbow Dash.
The sun making her mane almost glow a rainbow color. Although the buzzy athlete she is she'll need her nutrition Pinkie thought. Pinkie then decided on making Rainbow a breakfast in bed.
The whole way she trotted down the stairs she was thinking about the night before, and what a night it was. She never liked flying before, she actually hated the hot air balloon, but last night flying was the best thing ever. The views, the stars and the moon, and the most magical kiss in the world.
After that kiss they were up on the mountain until about 2 A.M and Rainbow was getting visibly tired. So Rainbow flew her back to Sugar Cube Corner, and Pinkie told her that she should sleep with her tonight. At first Rainbow looked shocked, but then Pinkie explained it wasn't that kind of sleeping.
After a big yawn she managed to get her to agree to a sleepover. That was the absolute best night of her life, but she hated the way it started.
Was she in control when she was going to do that thing? Was she really a monster?
No! I need to stop thinking like that, she thought, I don't know why I did it but one things for sure, she was never ever going to try to do it again.
Plus she needed to focus on making breakfast for Rainbow, but what does she like. Oh no, she forgot!
What would she like? Eggs, hay sandwich, an omelet, apples, or maybe an omelet with apples?
She decided on the apple omelet and some orange juice.
She grabbed some eggs and got to work on the omelet. After it was in the pan she got to work on juicing the oranges.
After everything was ready she waited for the omelet to cool down. During this she started thinking again. What if she woke up Rainbow and she sacred her again into smashing her head in the roof she thought while looking at the hole in the roof from yesterday.
No, she had to believe that Rainbow knew how much she loved her and that she would never hurt her. So she grabbed a small mug, and put a rose into it.
Taking the meal into her hooves she began up the stairs. Before she was even half way up she could hear her snoring, it was loud but cute.
When she got to the bedroom she slowly opened the door and walked in, careful not to spill the orange juice or rose. She set the food down on the nightstand and gently shook Rainbow. She looked cute while she was sleeping though, the way her hooves and legs twitched and her mane was covering her eye do to lack of brushing.
She once again shook her and this time her eye opened a bit. Then Pinkie got scared and quickly dropped to the floor, what if she did break the roof again? Pinkie would be heartbroken.
But that's the thing about love, you have to put it out there, yes there will always be a danger of it getting hurt but love could never fade.
So she slowly got up and tapped Rainbow's shoulder. This time both of her eyes fluttered open, even though Pinkie doubted that she could see through the one covered by her mane.
She stretched and yawned a lot but eventually she could see the pink shape that woke her up. For a just a millisecond she was scared but then she sat up strait and said "Morning." Rainbow knew that she would have to get used to seeing her when she woke up.
Pinkie sighed a breath of relief, there was no hole in the roof this time. "Good morning." Pinkie responded.
Pinkie took the food off the nightstand and put it onto Rainbow's lap.
Rainbow looked around and realized she was in Pinkie's room. Her face got as red as the rose that was sitting it the mug. "We didn't do anything last night right?"
"Oh" Pinkie went from pink to red, "no we didn't do anything like that."
"Ok well what's this?" Rainbow asked, "You didn't have to make me breakfast."
"Well it is the least I could do, you were exhausted last night. Oh and I wanted to say thanks for that first date."
"No problem" Rainbow said "like I said you're really light for a earth pony, and I had fun too. The views are great right?" "Yea" Pinkie responded "but not as great as the one I have right now."
"Aww come on Pinkie, as if I couldn't get any redder." Pinkie giggled at this, "So you still want to head to Twilight's house this afternoon?"
"Yea," said Pinkie "Well not now though." Pinkie began to crawl into the bed and snuggled up next to Rainbow.
At this point Rainbows face was as red as the sun itself. "I love you." she herd Pinkie whisper into her ear, her warm breath on her neck making a chill go down her spine. "I love you too." she responded eating a piece of omelet.
"Do you mind if I have some?" Pinkie asked. "Not at all umph!" Rainbow said before she was able to hand over the fork and Pinkie kissed her. They were lip locked for a good while until Pinkie pulled away.
"Mmm." Pinkie said, "The apple omelet was my best idea ever!"
"So you got the plan?" Rainbow Dash asked Pinkie Pie
"Yes, um what was the plan again hehe?" Pinkie responded. "Come on Pinkie focus. We just let Twilight get comfortable with the idea of giving you therapy and then when she asks what it is we approach the subject delicately," Rainbow explained "and tell her just what happened yesterday, OK?"
"Yea I got it this time."
"Alright then lets go!"

"Alright I'll help you however I can Pinkie, but do you mind if I ask why you want me to give you therapy?" Twilight asked.
"Well sit down its a long story."

"Uhh wha why wou-..." Then Twilight hit the floor with a thud out cold. "I think we broke her." Pinkie said "Nah just a lot for her to take in. She usually knows everything, but I doubt she saw this coming." Rainbow responded.
"Alright Pinkie, go get some cold water and I'll fan her" she said revving up her wings. "Okie dokie lokie" Pinkie responded as she bounced towards the kitchen.
When Pinkie got back with the ice water Rainbow dumped the bucket on Twilight. "Who! What! Where am I?" Twilight said as she shot up.
"Well good morning to you too Twilight." Rainbow responded. "I don't know..." Twilight said putting a hoof to her head.
"Its alright just sit down." Pinkie said.
"AHHH!" Twilight shouted flying towards a window, but her inability to fly well made her crash into a bookshelf.
"TWILIGHT!" Rainbow shouted getting her to settle down a bit, "just let us tell you the rest of what happened."
"Ok." she said her breathing starting to stableize. "What happened after Pinkie came over to you with the knife?"

"So" Twilight said suppressing a giggle, "That's why you need my help? Well of course I'll give it to you, but personally I doubt you need it."
"OH thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Pinkie said pulling Twilight into a bone crushing hug. "No, gah, problem but room... going... black..." Twilight responded.
"Oh sorry." Pinkie said releasing her friend who took in a deep breath.
"Ok well when do you want to start?" Twilight asked. "Right now." Pinkie responded. "But umm how many bits do you want? I only have a few on me."
"Oh Pinkie you don't have to pay me, I mean really what are friends for?"
"Oh thank you so much." She said giving her yet another, less bone crushing hug.
"Its no trouble at all." Twilight responded.
"So I guess I'll go and let you two do whatever therapy is." Rainbow said flying towards the door.
"No you need to stay with me." Pinkie said jumping in front of the door. "Pinkie," Rainbow responded "you need to be able to part with me for a while. Besides this is supposed to be between Twilight and you only."
"Come on can't you stay just for the first session?" She said looking at Rainbow with her sapphire puppy dog eyes.
Don't look at the eyes Rainbow was telling herself, but she caught a glimpse of her beautiful eyes and she couldn't say no. "Fine." she said "but only for this one."
"Yippee!" Pinkie shouted as she jumped higher then what should have been possible then bringing Rainbow into a big hug and passionate kiss.
Rainbow started blushing but not nearly as much as Twilight was. Starting to get embarrassed, Twilight then left the living room to go get a chair for her to sit on and a pad of paper to take notes on Pinkie's therapy sessions.
When she went back downstairs she saw Rainbow and Pinkie waiting for her on the couch, holding each others hooves.
"Alright" Twilight said pulling up a chair. "now I'm going to ask you a couple of questions and I need honest answers so I can help you." "Ok I promise I'll be truthful in answering your questions." Pinkie responded
"Alright but first I need you and Rainbow to sign this paper." she said. The heading at the top of this paper read Confidentiality Agreement.
Grabbing a quill they both wrote down their names and initials on the paper.
"Ok first question, have you had any bumps burses or concussions to your head?"
"Nope." Pinkie responded.
After scribbling words on her paper she asked "Have you been enraged at someone lately?"
"No."
"Ok have you been scared or feel scared lately?"
"No."
"Ok your not giving me a whole lot to work with here, ummm have you been under pressure or stress recently?"
"Well, I have been left in charge of Sugar Cube Corner whenever Mr. and Mrs. Cake go out of town like now their going to be in Manehattan for two more weeks. Also I have to babysit for them and its really hard sometimes."
"Oh ok. Well Pinkie from what I can tell you have been under quite a bit of stress. Its hard for a single pony to watch a entire bakery herself and still have time for friends and Rainbow Dash."
"So what can I do?" Pinkie asked.
"Well my only recommendation is that you take a few days or so off of work at the bakery and relax."
"But I can't I have to run the shop and sell stuff so the Cakes can keep the store."
"Ok well how about this, for the next couple of days you don't worry about the shop. I'll watch it for you and I'll see if Rarity and Fluttershy can help me."
"You'd do that for me? Oh thank you so much, but is it ok if Dashie is with me?"
"Of course. You looked pretty bent out of shape when she tried to leave, and you look so happy together and I'm so happy for you two."
"Really awesome!" Rainbow said "Pinkie?
"Yea?"
"Do you remember what Applejack said?"
"Oh yea that's right! Maybe we can relax at Sweet Apple Acres for a bit."
"But," Twilight interjected "Tonight I suggest you to just relax at home. Watch a movie or tv or maybe read a book."
"Alright thanks for all your help Twilight." Pinkie said.
"No problem, and if you ever need more help you could always come to me." Twilight said before they walked out.
Pinkie waved goodbye to Twilight. She had a feeling these next days would be the best days of her life.
"Alright see you tomorrow morning right?" Pinkie Pie asked Rainbow Dash who was waiting outside the door.
"You can count on it." Rainbow responded giving one of her signature daredevil smiles.
"Ok, bye." She said sadly walking into Sugar Cube Corner. "Pinkie wait." Pinkie stopped and turned around. "Yea?" she said.
"Come here." Rainbow said pulling her into a kiss. "Now can you wait till tomorrow to see me?" "Yea." said a hazy Pinkie as she stumbled inside, "See you tomorrow."
With that Rainbow took off into the clouds. Alright I need to get Pinkie something special to show he how much she means to me, she thought, I could go to the jewelers at Canterlot and get her a necklace for her, but man that's going to be expensive. She sighed at the thought of the amount of bits it would cost to get her a necklace.
"But It will be worth it for Pinkie!" She said as she shot towards Rarity's house.

"But why do you need jewels at this dreadful hour?" Rarity asked Rainbow.
"Well I kinda have an idea for this necklace design, and I figured it would be cheaper for the jeweler to make it if I supplied the jewels, and sorry for walking you up, but I thought you would be up its only 9 o'clock." she responded.
"Alright deary, but you also have to pay the jeweler for the gold and work so..." she said going towards the chest she kept her jewels in, "here!" She pulled out the sparkiest diamond Rainbow had ever seen.
"This should cover the cost of that. So, what kind of jewels did you have in mind."
"Wow! Thanks Rarity this is great! Actually you know what, I never thought about it that much. Well, I assume a pink gem to start off with."
"Alright let me see what I've got." She said digging in the chest, "Ahh here we are, a beautiful tourmaline." She said pulling a shiny pink gemstone, "That's funny it looks as pink as Pinkie Pie does."
"Well what else?" she asked.
"Well..." she was thinking. Hmm maybe something to remind Pinkie of me? "Do you have any sapphires?"
"Well of course!" she said pulling out a glittering sapphire then putting it in a bag with the tourmaline.
"Anything else?"
"Yea, just one more. Do you happen to have any purple gems?"
"Yes that would be tanzanite." Pulling out a purple gem and plopping it into the bag. "That all?"
"Yup, thank you so much! How can I ever repay you?"
"Oh please, no need. Glad to help a friend out, besides I can just get more later."
"Thanks Rare. See you later!" Rainbow said as she jetted into the sky towards Canterlot.

Alright, Rainbow thought these gems will look great on Pinkie's necklace. She quickly reached into the bag and pulled out the purple gem.
She had picked those gems for specific reasons. The pink tourmaline, representing her love, Pinkie Pie, would go on the side of the necklace.
The blue sapphire to represent Rainbow Dash and those beautiful eyes Pinkie has would go on the other side of the necklace.
Although the biggest, most important, and centerpiece gem, the tanzanite. It was a very logical choice to Rainbow, seeing as how blue and pink make purple, but the meaning behind the gem is what mattered the most. It represented them as a whole, together kept safe by their love for one another.
Aww man Pinkie is going to love this. I have the next three days perfectly planed out for us. Hopefully the jeweler can have this done in three days. She thought as she laid on extra speed, her destination dead ahead, Canterlot.

When Rainbow got to the jeweler in the middle of town it was a little later then 10 at night, but luckily there was still light coming from the store.
"Oh no, it closes at 10!" she said when she sat down outside the door. "Ugh now what? I got all this stuff for nothing!"
"Did you?" she herd a voice say.
Then she turned around and saw a old unicorn standing in the jeweler's doorway.
"Come on in." He said guiding her inside. "So," He said, "what do you need at my little old jewelry store?"
"Well, I kinda have this design for a necklace for my marefriend..." Then she stopped talking, feeling her face turning red realizing what she had just said.
"I-I mean my umm uh..." then she hung her head and sighed.
"Now listen here missy" he said, which made Rainbow pick up her head, "I have nothing against the kind of love you have, and that isn't anything to be embarrassed about. Its the way you feel and nothing can change that."
Despite not even knowing this kind old man's name, she reached over the table and hugged him and cried into his shoulder.
"Its alright." he said patting her on the back
"Its just that..." she sobbed, "there are people who aren't as accepting as you are, and who are cruel..."
"I know there are some ponies in this world who can't be as accepting as the rest of us."
After crying into his shoulder a little more she went back onto her side of the table and tried to regain her composure.
"Now," he said "what would you like for me to make for your marefriend?"
"Here." She said handing over a sheet of paper.
He studied over it a while and responded, "Yes I can make this for you, and I like the design. You are quite the artist."
She started blushing again. "Thanks, and here I have the gems for it already." dumping out the contents of her bag.
"These are beautiful, the necklace will look perfect." He said
"And umm here." Rainbow said pulling out the diamond Rarity gave her. "Will this be enough?"
"Oh my dear, no payment is necessary."
"But I can't let you just do this for free." Rainbow responded.
"I'll tell you what, I say I need no payment but you want me to take this diamond. Give me a single bit and we'll call it even, if you invite me to the wedding."
"Oh that's not what this is for, its just a gift but here." She said putting a bit on the table.
"Well whenever it does happen, promise you'll invite me?"
"Of course." She giggled.
Before she walked out she turned back and asked, "Hey you never told me your name?"
"You can just call me Shiner." He winked at her as she walked out the door into the night.
Some people say that it isn't worth it. Some people say when you put your heart out you'll just get hurt. Is it true? How? Can someone tell me?
How did things go so wrong. Is this truly the end?

"Guhhh" yawned Rainbow as she was flying through the early morning sky. "So close to Ponyville. Come on just a few more minutes."
Every cloud she passed looking like more of a viable bed for her sleep in. She had a lot of running around after going to the jewelers last night.
Reservations to make, looking around the environment, searching for awesome things to do for the next three days.
Finally she found herself flying just on the outskirts of town. She was thinking about turning in on a cloud, but she was so close to Sugar Cube Corner.
Then she started going down, she was getting so tired she was starting to lose the ability to fly. She then crash landed just outside of Sugar Cube Corner.
She found a nice looking bush and the second her head hit it she was out like a light.

That morning Applejack was up before the sun, she had quite a lot of apples to buck.
She was about halfway through her first five acres of trees when she saw someone coming down the old dirt path.
When the figure finally came into view it was clear the pony was Twilight.
"Well what are y'all doin here so early Twilight?" she said
"Applejack you need to come with me, now."
"Well whats the matter?"
"You know about what happened with Pinkie and Rainbow right?"
"Well yea?"
"Come with me you need to see this." Twilight said as her horn started to glow.
"Where are we going?" "You'll see" Twilight responded as they both teleported away.
When they reappeared they were no longer in Sweet Apple Acres. Now they were in an entrance to a cave.
"Wait Ah recognize this place." Twilight nodded as they both entered the cave.
"So what are we doing at the Tree of Harmony?" she said as they approached the brilliantly shining tree.
"Look." said Twilight pointing to the elements on the branches.
"The elements? What about them?"
"Look at Pinkie's."
Applejack then looked towards the left of the tree where Pinkie's element was.
"What the hay?!" she whispered.

The first day with Pinkie went surprisingly fast, mainly because they spent it sleeping and talking to each other.
Today they were heading to the farm to relax. Upon arrival they saw Big Mac bucking the trees.
"Hey Big Mac, how's it going?"
"Good."
"Where's Applejack?"
"Kinda what I'd like to know. Haven't seen her since breakfast yesterday morning."
"We haven't seen her or Twilight either."
"Well I'm sure wherever they are they can take care of each other."
"Yea totally," Rainbow said, "but uhh Applejack invited us to relax on the farm. Is that ok?"
"Well I'm not go and make my sister a liar, so sure." He responded.
"Awesome, come on Pinkie I sleep on these branches so often this minght as well be my second home."
Okie dokie!" Pinkie said bouncing after her.

"Alright here we are." Rainbow said leading them through the bushes.
"Wow," Pinkie whispered, "this is beautiful."
They were standing on the top of a cliff with a breathtaking view.
There was a cascading waterfall, with a beautiful rainbow shimmering in the mist. The water looked about 15 feet deep with sandy banks on the opposite side.
"It's so peaceful here. How have I never seen this before?"
"Honestly Pinkie, I doubt that even Applejack knows about this place. After all it is where they have the fruit bats, so they never come here."
"It seems like such a shame."
"Yea, it is." Rainbow said stepping towards the edge. "Although it's for more then just nature and beatuy."
"Dashie stop messing around you're gonna fall off."
She didn't listen she kept moving towards the edge until her two front hooves were hanging off the edge.
"Dashie, be careful!"
"Come on Pinkie, you know I can fly." She said floating over the gorge below.
A devious plan was beginning to form in Pinkie's head.
"So Dashie, you think I'm beautiful right?" Pinkie said laying on her back.
"I-I uhh um..."
"At a loss for words? Why don't you come over here and show me how much you love me?"
"I-I-I uh uh um..." Then Rainbow felt her wings stiffen and stoped beating.
"Oh that is so not cool." She said as her wings stopped completely and she started falling to the water below.
Pinkie then went over to the edge and saw Rainbow make a big splash into the water, and she started giggling.
Then Pinkie saw bubbles start for rise.
"Oh no! Dashie!" She shouted as she jumped off the cliff.
She hit the water with a splash. She looked under the water and didn't see Rainbow.
She quickly swam up to the surface and looked around her, no sign of Rainbow.
"Dashie!" She started yelling in a panic.
"Yea?" Pinkie turned around and was face to face with Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow, that wasn't funny!"
"Neither was you tricking me."
Both of them looked at each other with a angry faces.
Then they burst out laughing.
"Alright I guess it was really funny." Pinkie giggled.
"Yea so was your trick." Rainbow responded.
Then they started a splash fight, and afterwords they went on the beach and Pinkie fell asleep.
Today went even better than expected Rainbow thought. She looked at the sleeping goddess that lay before, and soon she was drawn into slumber aswell.
It hurts, it hurts more than anything else in the world. The pain is... unbearable, unfeasible. The pain.
Why? Answer me, why?

"This... is weird." said Applejack.
"I know." responded Twilight.
"Its like the edges are turning black, and it looks like it has cracks in it."
"That's all the information I've been able to ascertain through observation only. I need to get more details." she said summoning a lot of science equipment.
"But look there is some sort of blue glow surrounding it."
"Yes I know, I have been able to tell that the spell is a defensive magic spell.
"But who is casting it?"
"That's just it I don't know but I think we need help to figure this out." Twilight said as she summoned a sleeping Spike.
"Spike, wake up!"
"Yea, what?" said a still drowzy Spike.
"Take a letter to the princess."

"Aww man that was so much fun!" said a still wet Rainbow Dash.
"Yea, and it was so peaceful. The waterfall made it so easy to fall asleep." said a bouncing soppy Pinkie Pie.
"Yup, I haven't been so relaxed in all my life, and I have something to ask you."
"What's up?"
"Well you see tonight in Canterlot their having a thing called the Big Boom Bash. They have these special fireworks that actually dance in the sky."
"Oooh that sounds amazing." Pinkie responded.
"So, I was wondering... would you like to go with me?"
"Well of course Dashie, I'd love to go! It sounds like a ton of fun!"
"Great I'll pick you up at say 7 sharp?"
"Sounds like a plan! Oh and uh something for me to remember you by?"
Rainbow smiled as she pulled Pinkie close and kissed her.
"Love you!" Pinkie called as they went towards their homes.
"I love you too!" Rainbow called back.

"Seven sharp." Rainbow said as she looked towards the clock, 6:30 it read.
"Alright..." she said looking at herself in the mirror. She was wearing the same dress she wore to the Grand Galloping Gala. She had asked Shine to have the necklace by tonight, which he promised he would have it done.
Traditionally unicorns were married to one another with rings that would go on their horns. Pegasus and earth ponies don't have horns, so the traditional marriage item for them is a necklace.
"Ok I'm all dressed up, and the necklace will be ready by the time we arrive at Canterlot. Tonight will be perfect."

As soon as Pinkie opened the door to Sugar Cube Corner, she was greeted by the beautiful Rainbow Dash.
"Wow." was all she was able to say.
"Ditto." Rainbow said.
"Alright," Rainbow said coming back to reality, "ready to go?
"Yea!"
"Ok," Rainbow said turning around, "Hop on."
Pinkie jumped onto Rainbow's back, and wrapping her hooves around Rainbow they shot into the starry night.

"Alright," Rainbow said upon touchdown in Canterlot. "you go to the Bash and I'll meet you there ok"
"Okie dokie" Pinkie said as she jumped off Rainbow's back and bounced towards the Bash.
Alright now I just got to go pick up the necklace. I really hope it's ready. Rainbow thought as she started galloping towards the jeweler's.
"Shine, are you here?" Rainbow called as she opened the door to the shop.
"Yes Rainbow, come back here." he called back.
Rainbow flew over the displays and went into the room she herd Shine's voice come from.
"Just putting in the last gem." he said as Rainbow entered the room.
As the purple tanzanite gemstone fell into place the necklace was put into the water and came out just the way she had hoped.
"Wow Shine, this is beautiful!"
"Well it is your design after all."
The necklace was beautiful, built to Rainbow's plan. The necklace itself was made out of gold, and the very front where the gems were it was platinum. Then there were the gems, they were all fashioned to look like three balloons. The sapphire and tourmaline were on either side of the tanzanite. It looked like Pinkie's cutie mark, except different colors.
"This is perfect, thanks Shine!" she said giving the old man a hug.
"Oh ho, no problem. Now go give this to your special somepony." he said giving her the necklace.
Rainbow said thanks to him one more time and shot out the door.
Upon arrival at the Bash she saw Pinkie sitting on the side of a hill on a blanket.
She started jogging towards her but then she tripped on something and started rolling down the hill. The necklace case flew threw the air and hit Pinkie on the head then landed next to her.
In a attempt to stop her self she started sliding on her front knees and came to a stop right next to Pinkie who was opening the case.
Rainbow stayed kneeling next to Pinkie struggling to get her breath back.
"Oh Dashie! Its beautiful!" Pinkie said looking at the necklace.
Then Pinkie looked over at Rainbow who was still on her knees trying to steady her breathing.
Pinkie gasped looking at Rainbow, then to the necklace and back again.
What did I do wrong? I feel like I can't escape this darkness.
Won't someone help me? Please...Please? Please just help.

Well after that Rainbow Dash passed out. Pinkie Pie just started fanning her.
Marriage? Already? No way was Rainbow ready.
She was caught so off guard she was unconscious right after Pinkie repeated that she would marry her.
She was in no way ready. She really did deeply love Pinkie, but the fear she had.
I mean besides the fact that she was almost killed by her, spending your entire life with someone? Rainbow wasn't sure if she was ready.
Finally her eyes were starting to open, she was able to hear the fireworks booming in the sky and the dancing figures in the sky.
Then she sat up on her haunches and saw Pinkie smiling at her.
"What?" she said "Were you not expecting a yes?"
"I-I-I uh um well..." Rainbow said stuttering. "you see..."
She was then cut off by a back breaking hug and kiss.
"Pinkie..." Rainbow said after Pinkie let her go, "I-that wasn't meant to be a..." the rest of what she said was unheard.
"What?" she said stepping closer. "I said that... um that wasn't a..." Again the rest was too quiet to be herd.
"Come on Dashie, speak up."
She sighed, "I said that wasn't meant to be a proposal."
"What?" Pinkie responded looking confused. "But you were on you knees and the necklace?"
"I fell coming down the hill, and came to a stop next to you on my knees. The necklace, that was just meant to be a special. I just wasn't going to marry you."
"What?" she said again looking like she was on the brink of tears.
"No wait that wasn't what I meant! I meant I wasn't..."
"No it-it's alright Dashie, I understand." she got up and started walking away.
"Pinkie wait!" she said trying to get up, but the pain on her legs still hurt and she fell back down.
She sat there helpless as Pinkie Pie disappeared into the crowd.
"Pinkie?" she said beginning to tear up.

"So what do you make of this Princess?" Twilight Sparkle said.
"I fear I know what this is." said a worried looking Princess Celestia.
"Well don't leave us in the dark." said a confused looking Applejack
"It is the darkness the Elements of Harmony were originally made to stop. Legend has it, even before my time or the time of the Crystal Empire, the entire universe was shrouded in a permanent darkness. The Elements were made by the first pony that ever existed. Him and him alone used the Elements and destroyed the darkness. Although it wasn't completely destroyed, there must be balance, with all good comes bad and with bad comes good."
"So where did the darkness go?" Twilight asked.
"It went to the most obvious place, the lightest and happiest element, the Element of Laughter. When me and my sister came across the Elements, the Element of Laughter looked just like it does now. I used my magic and dispersed the darkness, but apparently all I did was reset it."
"So can you reset it again, and do you know what that blue glowing magic is?"
"No is the answer for both of your questions. I'm growing old Twilight, while it doesn't look like it I am, and with age my magic has gotten weaker. In order to cleanse the element completely I'll need help from my sister, Princess Cadence, and you. As for the blue glow, you are correct it is a defensive magic spell, but as to who is casting it I have no idea."
"Wait look!" Applejack exclaimed pointing a hoof to the element. "The spell, its gone!"
"Oh no! We must cleanse it soon or the bearer of the element will become a demonic monster."
Twilight and Applejack gasped, "Pinkie Pie!"

Two days since Pinkie's heart died in her chest. The sky looked black and was pouring rain. She hadn't come out of her room since the Big Boom Bash.
Luckily with Rarity and Fluttershy watching the shop, she had one less thing to worry about.
Looking out that window seeing the sadness outside and inside. She had cried the entire first day, but now she was just sad and depressed.
Helplessness, a feeling everyone hates to have. Nothing to do, nothing can be done, just an endless abyss of woe and sorrow.
Sitting there and thinking about it just made her sadder.
Just then back in the cave of The Tree Of Harmony her element was completely engulfed by the darkness inside of it.
Pinkie dropped to the floor clutching her head screaming in agony, the pain was unbelievable, then she fell unconscious.

"Oh Pinkie Pie." said a down Rainbow Dash holding Pinkie's necklace, "I'm so sorry."
The rain just wouldn't let up. It was stupid, just unloading the leftover rain on Ponyville. She sat inside doing nothing but feeling bad. She had been up all night the past two days thinking and finally started falling asleep.
"So sorry." she said and fell asleep.

When Pinkie awoke she had no idea what happened. She had learned what she needed to do though, she needed to get Rainbow Dash, and make her some cupcakes.
Then she walked downstairs, Fluttershy and Rarity turned in for the day, and she went into the basement.
She saw her table of blunt weapons, but she instead went for the doctor's scalpel that lay on the floor next to the wall. They never did clean up down there yet.
"Ahh memories." Pinkie mused picking up the blade. "Shall we make some new ones?" she said to the knife.
She laughed psychotically as she trotted up the stairs, and into the rainy weather.
"Cupcakes, so moist and delicious, cupcakes..." she was singing as she trudged towards the house of the cyan and rainbow pegasus.
Gun to the head, knife to the neck. Neither viable options.
Someone help me, help me in my final hour.

Rainbow awoke to hear a knocking at the door. The rain was still coming down, not showing any signs of stopping. She slowly walked over to the door.
When she opened the door she found a note soaked with water. She took it inside and began to read.
'Rainbow Dash, I'm sorry that I didn't give you time to explain what happened two days ago. Meet me in Sugar Cube Corner in half an hour and we'll talk then. Yours Forever, Pinkie Pie'
Yes! A chance to explain myself. Rainbow thought.
Half an hour, the clock already read 6:30.
Kinda of late, better be careful.
Even though she was nervous she was happy to be able to tell Pinkie what she meant to say didn't come out right.
And who knows, she thought looking at the necklace in her hooves, maybe Shine was right about the use of the necklace.

"Alright sister, why are we here." asked Luna
"We have an issue Luna." Celestia said motioning towards the tree of life.
Luna gasped when she saw the Element of Laughter. "Sister I thought you removed the darkness from the element."
"Apparently not." said Princess Cadence.
"Indeed and now it looks just like the way it did when we found it." Luna said.
"Yes, after the protection magic faded the darkness proceeded to spread like wildfire. That is why I need all of your help."
"Of course." said Cadence. "Yes." Luna responded.
"I just hope we can fix it." Twilight interjected.
"Alright, ready?" asked Celestia, which was then responded with a yes from the other princesses.
Combining their magic together they shot a beam of brilliant bright white magic at the element. It seemed to work... at first.
Even with the combined magic and the Tree of Harmony to aid their efforts it didn't work.
A small sonic boom occurred and the ponies were blasted backwards.
After regaining their composure they saw that the magic had a minimal effect on the element.
"Even together we aren't strong enough to destroy the darkness!" Twilight exclaimed.
"I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but..." Celestia turned towards Twilight, "Could you summon Discord? He knows more about this than I, and he has very powerful magic."
"Yes princess." she responded her horn glowing.
Then in a brilliant flash of light Discord appeared.
He looked like he was on vacation. He was sipping out of a coconut sitting on a chair, and was wearing a Hawaiian t-shirt and shades.
"What happened to the sun?" He asked looking towards the group.
"Oh." He said miserably snapping his fingers and appearing in his usual form, or what was usual for him.
"Well what do you all what?" He asked.
They all pointed towards the tree.
"Oh dear." He said looking at the element they were pointing at.

7:00 and Rainbow was flying towards Ponyville. She landed outside of Sugar Cube Corner and slowly walked towards the door.
Upon entering she saw that Pinkie wasn't there. She did a quick 360 to make sure that Pinkie wasn't hiding.
She was scared and started backing towards the door.
"Where are you going Dashie?" said Pinkie Pie exiting her basement.
"Oh you're here." Rainbow said nervously. "So um I can explain."
"Oh, no need for explanations." she said now through the doorway. Her hair was the first thing Rainbow noticed, it was laying completely flat on her head and tail. Then she noticed the one thing she wished never existed: a doctor's scalpel, and not just any scalpel but the one she used on that fateful night.
"NO!" she screamed making a break for the door.
"Oh don't run Dashie." she said as she picked up a knife off the counter and threw it. It impaled the wall right next to the doorway as Rainbow opened the door and shot into the sky outside.
It was still pouring outside and visibility was awful. She kept flying until she was sure she was more than a mile from Sugar Cube Corner.
Then she touched down and started breathing heavily.
Then she herd the most horrific sound in the world. "Boo."
"AHHHH!" she screamed as she shot away, with another knife sailing by her head.
She looked behind her and sure enough there was a evilly smiling Pinkie.
"STOP!" Rainbow desperately yelled. "PLEASE!"
She then turned her head to face forward again. Big mistake. She flew right through a bunch of apple trees. Right when she could see them thinning out she felt a branch hit her wing, hard.
She yelled out in pain and crash landed coming to a stop just at the edge of a cliff. She got up and attempted to fly, but the pain in her wing was bad.
Sprained she thought. She looked into the chasm and instantly knew where she was. She was at Apple Acres and this was the same chasm that she took Pinkie to when they went on their date.
She was on the wrong side. Below her was a 20-30 foot drop into sand instead of water.
She thought about how close she was to Sweet Apple Acres. She just should've said yes when Pinkie said it.
Now here she was stuck between a rock and a pink pony.
Hopelessness and helplessness, the two worst feelings in the world. Feelings that ruin so many lives. The worst possible feelings anyone could ever face, especially when they are alone.
Then Rainbow thought it was over she was moving towards the edge of the cliff ready to take her own life. This is it she thought the end.
Nothing was there to save her, so she just edged closer.
"Well this can't be as bad as what Pinkie would do to me. I bet she would probably torture me."
Then a massive force rammed into her.
"Oh you've got that right!" said Pinkie who was on top of her.
Rainbows eyes were wide with fear, but then she sighed and closed her eyes, ready for whatever horrible pain her fate would bring.
She gave up.
Pinkie raised the knife above her head laughing psychotically.
Now the light comes, shining through the eternal darkness that haunted my every living moment.
The light of my life, saving me.
No longer am I alone, no longer am I feared or hated. Now my light has saved me, I have the will to move forward. No longer am I scared, the fear is replaced with love, kindness, and freedom. These simple rights that lives every day are denied of, and those lives tend to be lost forever.
Although for one reason or another I live to see another day, a happier day where the sun is shining down upon the world.

In the cave the four princesses and Discord were using magic to tame the Element of Laughter. Combined, the darkness was forced to abandon the element. Darkness without rule cannot continue without a host, so it dissipates into thin air.
The element is no longer dark and miserable, but instead it is glowing announcing the freedom of the element.
And the freedom of the host, many miles away.

The rain is pounding the rainbow maned pegasus with a pink party on top of her. The knife Pinkie Pie is holding descending slowly, as if to gloat that Rainbow has been beat.
The knife began piercing skin. Rainbow began to cry out in pain her, flesh beginning to open.
Through it all Pinkie laughed a horrible psychotic laugh, seeming to be enjoying herself.
That is when the darkness was dispersed from the element, freeing the bearer.
It began slowly, like coming out of a dark fog that clouded her mind. She stopped laughing and brought a hoof to her forehead, slowly coming to her senses.
The sight she saw was awful, she was on top of Rainbow Dash who had her eyes closed and was bleeding, crying in agony. And she held the knife in her hoof, the same one that was digging into Rainbow.
"Oh no! Dashie!" Pinkie yelled jumping off of her and trying her best to gently remove the knife that Rainbow was impaled with.
When she removed the knife, Rainbow began to scream with tears streaming down her face. "Please," Rainbow cried out, "just kill me, stop torturing me!"
"R-rainbow...I-I'm s-so sorry." Pinkie said.
"You're what?" she said opening her eyes, lifting her head to be greeted with to sapphire eyes that were full of concern. "Oh, so your back?" she chuckled "That's good." she said laying her head back down.
"Dashie I-I'm so so sorry. I didn't mean to."
"And I know that's the truth, so don't apologize." She said sitting up and looking down at herself. She chuckled "Looks like you cut me up, but it's not that bad."
Rainbow tried to stand up, but her legs were too wobbly and she fell to her knees.
"Do you mind helping me?" she asked. Pinkie came over to Rainbow and helped her hobble to her house.
"How are you going to get up there?" Pinkie asked looking at Rainbow's badly damaged wing.
"Fly." She said spreading out her wing.
"But how are you..." She was cut off by Rainbow laying her wing onto the ground and with a couple of cracks the wing was back in place.
"Rainbow!" Pinkie gasped.
"Don't worry about it. Climb on."
"No! I am not hurting you more then I already did."
Then Rainbow slipped herself under Pinkie and flew her up to the house.
Now Pinkie keeping rainbow up, and Rainbow keeping Pinkie from falling through the clouds, they went inside.
They hobbled over onto the only solid surface in the house that was magically kept up, the table.
Pinkie climbed onto it and Rainbow, too weak to stand alone, fell to her knees.
"Pinkie, give me that case." She said pointing to the case on the table.
She complied and placed the case in her hoof. Upon opening the case Pinkie saw it was the necklace.
"Pinkie, I want to live a life with no regrets, would you do me the honor of marrying me?"
"I-I..."
"Hurry up please, I'm starting to lose consciousness from blood loss."
"Yes, yes I would!"
"Great I love..." was all she was able to say before going unconscious.
Ok, Pinkie thought, now how did I get up here to deliver that note?

"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you first." Twilight said to Pinkie.
"Oh it's fine, the doctors said Dashie would be fine."
"Well that's good news, but you will never have to worry about doing something like this again. Myself, along with the other princesses and Discord destroyed the darkness from your element forever."
"Well at least no pony got killed because of me, but Dashie came really close."
"A bit too close for comfort, good thing we destroyed the darkness or else..." she didn't finish, but Pinkie knew what she was going to say.
"Yea, I know. I don't think I would be able to live with myself if I would've k-killed her."
"I know, it's a heavy thought, but she is fine now so its alright."
"I guess so."
"So..." Twilight said trying to make small talk, "Anything else happen with you this week, besides... well you know."
"Um I guess I'm getting married."
"Wha?"
"Yea Rainbow took me to her house and proposed, purposely this time!"
"Purposely?"
Then nurse Red Heart walked into the room, "You may see her now." she said.
They got up and followed her into the west wing of the hospital, she was in the room that was furthest in that direction.
Upon arrival they slowly walked in, nurse Red Heart had to tend to other patients so she left when they arrived. The room was dark and the blinds were closed, the only source of light being a wall mounted television, and a heart monitor.
"Should we come back later?" Pinkie asked Twilight.
"No." came the voice of a certain rainbow pegasus.
Rainbow flipped on the lamp on her nightstand and looked at her visitors. "Hey guys, what's up?"
"How are you feeling Rainbow?" asked Twilight.
"Better, I hear that they said I'd be out of here in two days."
"Good, but how are your wounds?"
"The doctors patched me up pretty well, they said the bandages would be off before I leave."
"That's great!" Twilight said with a smile.
Pinkie sat down in a chair listening in on what Rainbow was saying.
"So Pinkie Pie," She jumped in her chair startled by hearing her name, "how are you doing?" she said.
"Ok." she said quietly.
"What's the matter? You're talking like Fluttershy." she chuckled.
"It's not funny! I hurt you Dashie." Pinkie said tears welling up in her eyes. "But I'm fine now ain't I?"
"But what if I do this again?" she questioned. "You're not going to, and you know that. The darkness is no longer in your element."
"But what if..." she trailed off. "But nothing, I know you would never purposely hurt me."
She just stared down at the floor.
"Come here." Rainbow said patting her bed. Pinkie Pie came over and sat down on the edge if the bed.
Rainbow pulled her closer into her hooves. "I love you, and like I told you before, if I die because I love you, then I'll die happy."
Pinkie began to cry into her chest not holding any emotion in. "I love you too." she cried into her.
"Twilight?" Rainbow said but looking up was aware she already left.
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh" Said a nervous Rainbow Dash a hour before the ceremony was suppose to start.
"Rainbow, would you calm down?" said Applejack, "I know you're nervous, but you need to relax." "How can I relax?" she responded "This is a really big day. The past five months have led up to this day."
"Ah know, but you got ta believe that your ready for you to be ready." "Alright." Rainbow responded slowing her breathing. "Maybe I can see her?"
"Nope, bad luck for the brides to see each other before the wedding." "Aww." she said crossing her forehooves and grabbing a cupcake off a tray.
Swatting the cupcake out of her hand, "I can't have you eating food before the wedding and getting icing on your suit." Applejack said reaching a cupcake of her own which Rainbow smacked her hoof away. "Well I can't have the best mare getting any on her suit either." she responded.
"I don't get why you made me where this, feels weird." "Hey, you're the one who said you wanted to be my best mare."
"Well why couldn't Ah just wear a dress." "Cuz, our friends are on the groom because I don't have any family left, but Pinkie does and the groom tend to where suits."
"Oh, uh sorry." "Nah, no big deal." Rainbow said punching Applejack on the shoulder.
"So wait, why does Twilight not have to wear a suit?"
"Oh, I didn't tell you? Well Pinkie picked Twi as her bridesmaid." Rainbow explained.
"Oh, ok." Applejack responded.
"I just hope Pinkie Pie is doing better with nerves than I am."

"Pinkie, would you stop pacing for a minute, you're starting to wear away the floor." said Twilight Sparkle.
"I can't, I'm sooo nervous, but sooo excited!" Pinkie Pie said stepping out of the shallow rut she wore into the floor.
"I know, uh how about you tell me what's got you so nervous?" "Yea, that's a great idea!" she said walking over to a chair.
"So, what's up?" "Well I'm kind of worried about my gown. Maybe making it pink was a bit too much like my mom said."
"Oh Pinkie, you look great that shouldn't worry you." Twilight said. "Well what about the flower girls?"
"The Cutie Mark Crusaders are here and ready."
"Alright, and Rainbow Dash?" "Pinkie you know you can't see her until the ceremony starts."
"Why not?" "Because it's bad luck, and besides I'm sure she's fine."
"Humph, superstitions." she muttered under her breath.
"Any other concerns?"
"Well what if I'm not ready?"
"Aww Pinkie," Twilight said giving her a hug, "why would you think that?"
"I don't know. It's just that when we were on that hill during the Bash, I was stunned at first..." "But then?"
"Well I got all excited and stuff, and I said yes. Then she told me that she didn't mean to propose, and then..." she trailed off about what happened after that, but they all knew she almost killed Rainbow.
"Yea, I hear you." Twilight said.
"Then after you guys freed me she took me to her cloud house." "But wait, I thought you said that she sprained her wing."
"She did," Pinkie said, "but she broke it back into place. After she did that she flew me up there and grabbed the necklace and proposed.
"Oh so that's how you guys got engaged." "Yup, and I've loved her ever since that fateful day."
"So, has talking about it made you feel better?" Twilight asked. "Yea, thanks."
"Look," Twilight said pointing to a clock. "they're probably already at the alter, ready?"
"Couldn't possibly be any more ready!" Pinkie said confidently.

There Rainbow Dash stood, at the end of the isle and the beginning of her life with Pinkie. The flower girls had just finished going down the isle and Pinkie would be coming down soon.
Then Pinkie stepped through the doors with her father at her side. He and his wife had come all the way from their rock farm.
"Wow." Rainbow muttered under her breath at the veiled Pinkie. She began to sweat as Pinkie walked up the steps and onto the alter.
They had the honor of having Celestia be the person to wed them.
After what seemed life forever it was time for the rings andvows.
Rainbow's wedding necklace was a rainbow colored balloon, and Pinkie's was a pink lightning bolt
"I Rainbow Dash promise that I will be loyal to you for the rest of our lives. I am fully prepared to die for you and will defend you with my life."
"And I Pinkamena Diane Pie promise that you will be the only pony for me as long as we both live. I will be at your side to laugh with you and cry with you.
"Rainbow Dash, do you take Pinkamena Diane Pie to be your lawful wedded wife?"
"I do." She said.
"And do you, Pinkamena Diane Pie take Rainbow Dash to be your lawful wedded wife?"
"I do." She said.
"Then, by the power vested in me by the land of Equestria, I now declare you mare and wife. You may now kiss the bride?"
Then Rainbow lifted up the pink veil to expose her beautiful face and eyes.
"I love you." she said.
"I love you too."
Then they kissed, their love eternally sealed with it.
