This is why humans piss me off. All we do is take something harmless and turn it into a wepon.
Oh no! Disappeared by spooks! Whatever will become of their dream pony city now? Also: "draconequus". Latin-ish for dragon horse.
It's a good thing the FBI don't know about the book, things could go south very quickly...
There are going to be a lot of contractors scratching their heads when nobody comes to check their work, I don't recall Loki finishing payment yet.... Speaking of, I wonder if she'll get a little backlash on that. Things can get really good if everyone cooperates, but I highly doubt that the government will play fair, especially when they find out more about Alexia...
Keep going! ;)
Cool story can't wait for next chapter
Great chapter! altho the FBI showing up right after the party was a little to abrupt for me. I was expecting for them to get at least to their home before the feds showed up.
but other than that I liked the banter between discord and tune.

Well the feds wouldn't be doing their job right if they came along at a convenient time.

LOL true! Thanks for the reply.
Hmmm, modern day internment camps. My interest has been tickled, go on.
Darn I can't believe it, first she finally found out that Discord was the cause of everything and then the FBI captures them and has over 2300 transformed ponies stuck there, and what's worse majority of the government thinks of them as weapons first, people second. This is definitely against the Alexia's plan to gather ponies for a regular village, but it's close to that. Now the next matter is trying to get them out of here to reveal themselves to the world.
What the... Oh no, the Government and Military are already involved? *Groan* Shits going down, for sure now. Labs dissecting ponies, ponies being trained as weapons, strict militarily rule... And over 2300 ponies in the Pony Town I DIDNT want...
Heck, a bunch of important people are changing... I wonder if the president will change? Heh. That'd be amusing to see.
And at least Vanders seems like a cool guy. He's just as concerned as James and the group I'll bet, but just doesn't want to show it to keep professional. Even HE has to live there and has to abide by new rules, so I have a good feeling he's going to be a hero as well. I like Vanders.
Carter can go suck a chode though. >:T
Ah. Yes, that is about expected. Well done.
That would be beneficiaries. A benefactor provides support, a beneficiary receives it.
Well I do. Logically, that is. 'Straight' and 'gay' don't work as identifiers for sexual orientation because they each encompass two seperate relationships. For straight (as that is the relevant one), it refers to male attraction to females, and female attraction to males. As can be seen by that distinction, Alex's orientation has, rather than remain the same, in fact _reversed_. Now, I'm not sure whether the decision to be 'straight', as regards to physical gender, came from the transformation, or Alex. If the former, Alex was subject to a nasty case of mental editing; if the latter, Alex just trained herself to like blokes by getting shagged repeatedly, which is similar to so many psychological disorders, I can safely say it was _not_ healthy.
Of course, she seems to be taking the much more significant shift of 'attraction to humans' to 'attraction to ponies' very well, which itself is rather odd.
'We are the government. We are here to help'. Full marks to everyone who wanted to scream and run on hearing that.
I'm sorry, if it was any other country on Earth, I wouldn't take issue with it, but the great hypocrisy that is America? I can't let that slide. _What_ loyalties? Your entire nation was founded on throwing that loyalty back in the government's face as and when it suited you - how can you ask people to remain loyal to that? Also, this whole 'we are makinbg people disappear' thing.
I'm sorry, but if your nation was founded on the principles that these things are wrong, how then can a government expect loyalty from its people, when it isn't even loyal to the principles it is supposed to uphold?

No
No
Just, no
And they call Americans the one's who think that there the only country in the world.
To Ctrl-C Ctrl-V Wikipedia witch I hate doing.
"In 1767 the Parliament passed the Townshend Acts, which placed a tax on a number of essential goods including paper, glass, and tea. Angered at the tax increases, colonists organized a boycott of British goods."
British where the instigators, not the Americans
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
British:
"All but one of the soldiers fired into the crowd. 11 people were hit; three civilians were killed at the scene of the shooting, and two died after the incident. The event quickly came to be called the Boston Massacre."
Americans:
"The mob grew more and more threatening, throwing snowballs, rocks and debris at the soldiers. One soldier was clubbed and fell."
Who threw away those loyalties again?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The third Act was the Boston Port Act, which closed the port of Boston until the British had been compensated for the tea lost in the Boston Tea Party."
This among other things killed off alot of people who lived in Boston even those (however few there where) who were still loyal to the crown.
Also there was a huge fever during that time so, wow that was a horrible time cause by the... Guess who British.
PS:French doctors helped us out French take a munite to let that sink in one of the most sterotypical jerks HELPED us and not the ones who owned the colonies, Shameful

My Conclusion
So kindly go fk yourself, and also please go sterilize yourself to prevent contaminating the gene pool with your stupidity.
PS: WE WON
PPS:
is something earned not expected.
PPPS: Loyalties where earned by defeating the ones with false loyalties.

Don't forget that Britain illegalized slavery in the Isles and there was a strong push to make it illegal across the entire Empire. (Neither paper, glass nor tea would be what I would call terribly essential goods)
great chapter, and why the pointless mud-slinging in the comments? question aimed at all parties
...
how would they EVER know if he tried to leave? Pegasi, being about, what, 2'6"? and 4-5' long? are much too small and round to be picked up by radar. It's the same kind of logic that had Ironman get picked up by radar- the human body is too irregularly shaped, small, and round to be picked up on radar. I mean, cameras I GUESS, but it'd be so easy to fool that.
Military kidnaps Alexia Oh no, she's in trouble now!
Military kidnaps Conrad Oh no, he's in trouble now!
then they kidnap Loki Oh no they're in trouble now!
This guy makes no sense. If she is a citizen of the United States, then she is entitled to due process and whatnot. That means no dissection table. In fact, no matter what verdict she may be given by a judge (especially considering she isn't even being charged with a crime), she still couldn't be dissected. That's illegal, not even the FBI could do it unless they're rogue.
I'll probably find out that they're rogue in the next few chapters.
The New Hampshire motto comes to mind. Live Free or Die. That said though, I would not give them a reason to kill me. Better to turn the situation into my advantage and turn the tables on my slavers than to die pointlessly. Looks like that is just waiting to be realized. Learn magic, teach ponies in secret, befriend the local soldiers, and then put your hoof down and say here is how I will help America and demand all the protections of the Constitution.
4092938 You know they could have those cameras that can detect heat. Wouldn't be hard to spot fleeing red blob.
There's no such thing as 'manic depression'. You're either depressed, or you're manic. Mania and depression are polar opposites, that's why the associated condition is called bipolar.

Not with standard radar, no. However, they can use Doppler radar to do the same thing. It's not tracking the object so much as the wind currents and air pressure that is caused by a fast moving object. That's how missiles can be traced when standard radar won't work.
Aside from that, they have satellites that can count how many zits a teenager has on their face from twenty-thousand feet. Or it's one of those 'don't try it; we're watching your every move' threat that military boys are so fond of.
im scared

Harmless? You would not know harmless if it would bite your ankle.
This seems quite nice development actually nice to see somewhat smart portrayal of solid government action, still a bit too NSA:y but that is how US Peeps roll i suppose.
There's what I was looking for.
And god damn Alexia's gone saccharine.
