"Friendship is more than meets the eye"? Aw man, you stole my title! Lol kidding, this was the title of one of my stories, but I changed it. Weird, I was messing around with the next chapter in my transformers/mlp crossover and I see this! That's so weird... can't wait for more.
I can also see that I'm not the only one who thinks that Grimlock should be in more crossovers!

Im unfortunaley not old enough to have grown up whit any of the old 80´s transformers cartoons so i didn't relay know ho this Grimlock guy is but after doing some quick reading on him online and goth the basis on his personalty, i can say i am relay looking forward to more updates.
A "not so friendly" autobot in equestria, why do i have a feeling that this is not going to go so well at first
175481 Grimlock is the leader of the dinobots, his alt-form, or preferred form it seems, is a tyrannosaurus rex, which has a plasma flamer in the mouth. He's probably one of the biggest "normal" autobots and depending on the continuity was either one of the first awakened or was built on Earth. He's also one of the stupider 'bots. Where he and the other dinos go, you'll probably find a big ass mess left behind since they're a wrecking crew, even when they don't mean to be.
Grimlock did, at one point, get a major intelligence boost during the G1 cartoon, then drained it by giving - I think - the Technobots intelligence while they were in their combi-form. He also managed to reverse the path of something that might've given Unicron a run for its money in trouble causing abilities.

You've done such a great job of keeping the ponies (and Grimlock) in character and pacing their first interactions, not just tossing in an abrupt "Welp, here's the Autobot and here's the ponies--oh, now they are best friends in the third paragraph of the first chapter!" I can't wait to see where this is going!

Good news! It's only the Predicons, the guys that lose more easily and more pathetically than Devestator! Seriously, Wheelie, Blur, and a human were enough to beat all five of them and the Predicons had ambushed them! And that was in their big premier that was supposed to show how much of a threat they are. And their gestalt Prediking has been beaten 1v1 by Grimlock before. In fact, the Predicons/Prediking have never won a fight. Even Menesor has forced Autobot retreats...heck a human made robot that was built for a high-school project outfought four autobots! The Predicons are a joke.

I'll admit, I was skeptical when you introduced Wheelie, of all Autobots, but he's really not bad at all when you don't have to actually listen to his voice.
Also enjoying seeing less used Decepticons instead of just Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, and the usual gang. A bull in a china shop . . . I see what you did there!

I think Wheelie is less irritating because in this universe, we're used to the rhyming conversation coming from a wise zebra.

Okay, one bit I don't like is Unicron having previously menaced the planet where Equestria is. Princess Celestia is very smart, so she would surely have taken the opportunity to dispose of Discord before making Old Planet-muncher bugger off.
