On one particular month, a wanderer comes to nearly every city in Equestria. He brings with him the concept of a sport that will change the kingdom forever: football, known to the ponies as longball.
By declaration of Princess Celestia, the new sport becomes national, and with the season starting in two months, Ponyville must compile a team to start the season. What's the name of their team, you ask? The Ponyville Elements.

I completely made most of these towns.
Note: #1, 2, 9, 13, 18, and 22 are places on the MLPFIM show. #5, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, and 31 are towns that were either ponified from towns on Earth, or ponified in general. Everything else was my creation!
I'm gonna go by the fact that Equestria doesn't have that many towns (not over 50), so, yeah.
As for team names, I am going almost completely imaginative, only taking a few team names from the actual league (Buccaneers, Colts, Jets and 49ers [changed it to 36ers]). I'll be releasing a roster chapter with all the names and teams on it.
You'd be a lot better off if you kept this much simpler, with just a few teams. Some of those city names are extremely awkward, and it will just end up being far more trouble than it's worth. I'd go with no more than 16. Also, you absolutely did misspell equipment as "equiptment," which is not a word.
