I feel that she should have taken Nightmare Moon up on her offer. Just because the offer is coming from someone evil, doesn't mean that accepting the offer would make the person accepting it evil. Sure Luna had turned evil, but that was because she had been jealous of her sister. All Twilight Sparkle wanted to do was keep her friends alive forever. Other than my personal opinion, however, this was a really good story.
Way to make Twilight look evil. Good job, really.
I dunno why, but I think Twilight may have literally took Nightmare's power for herself.
This reminded me a lot of Star Wars Episode 3. With Sidious promising Anakin that the dark side could be used to save padme.
