Alright, a fanfic of a fanfic! A good one too!
Good concept, I love this song. I detect incoming b'aww ahead.
So far a VERY good start.
And I'm old enough to know that song, and have heard the Ugly Kid Joe remake, when it was released. They're both somewhat sad.
I was genuinely surprised that Lithe gave me the go ahead to use his characters. I had been listening to Cat's in the Cradle trying to come up with stuff to write about and Vinyl's relationship with her father popped into my head. I started writing it and before I knew it I hit a thousand words.
I've been listening to a lot of oldies recently. I love electronica, but I haven't found an electronica song that made me feel as much as this song or other oldies. Only one that has come close is DJ Shadow.
Glad you all enjoyed it. It makes writing it that much sweeter.
I'm curious to see where this goes. Haven't read the story this is based on, but it's now on my to-read list.
Only one nit to pick - After the hospital scene, Rolando changed to Ronaldo. For those of us that don't know any better, which one's right? Or are both right?
