First: Block style. Please, if you're doing a block style format. PLEASE use double return. (enter)
Second: Minor grammatic mistakes. Major mistakes are in there, as well. Look out for run-ons and poor sentence structures. Instead of saying, " After all, the princesses had been in perfect health before their deaths and nopony knew how they died, not even the Royal Guard." say, "After all, nopony knew how the Princesses, who were in perfect heath, died; not even the Royal Guard."
Simicolons, make longer and fluent sentences if you don't want comma splicing/run-ons; you can also add long dashes to add a bit of information, without using a comma/using a complete thought; (All ponies--including Unicorns--have special jobs within the community of Ponyville.) Another thing, look out for small mistakes (an, and; your, you're; etc.)
If you want to be the powerhouse of story, but lack in grammatic fluency, get someone as an editor. I could edit it a bit, and then send it to you if you want. I can revise the first chapter. But be warned: I cannot be trusted with long-term duties. I procrastinate with long-term things, but I could easily double or triple your first chapter's wordcount tonight.
Final thing: You better add some flair to the story, because Twilight Princess fics have been done a lot.
Also: If Twilight's the main character moving the plot forward (reading the diaries), why isn't she a main character? I might be wrong, though.
