Also, no unicorns lose their magic in this series. It just gets transferred to another source. It may be a story about magic turning ponies into humans, but I have to keep some semblance of realism. The unicorns get a magic necklace, and pegasi get magic anklets.
Alicorns like Celestia, Luna, and Cadance have both, and can use them at any time.
Hope you enjoyed what's there. I have a lot of ideas, but writing them down takes some time. I'm just glad I could get chapter one out in one day.

If it's a reference, it isn't intentional, and yes. Pinkie Pie is such a boss that she took out Twilight, and although I haven't written it yet - I'll go back and put it in, though - whenever I look at Pinkie Pie's last stand in my head, she wounds Rainbow Dash too, albeit not too badly.

This is bad... sort of. Im certain someone of another disposition might like it but I cannot. So many things I love about mlp are desecrated by what you write. Do you want there to be darkness and battle in the kindhearted world of equestria? if so I suppose this is the story for you im stopping here. Taking my imagination and going elsewhere

I'm glad you derived at least a small amount of enjoyment from it, although if violence, dark themes, and battles are that horrible to you, then you should avoid a good third of the fics on this site.

Howdy, not sure if this will ever really be seen. But I wanted to let the author know that I've loved this story for many many years. Hell way back when, I created my account just to keep this story in the back of my head. Rereading it years later, I still love it. I like the pacing, sure there's a few errors here and there some grammatical and others consistency. But this is by far one of if not my favorite stories on the site and I don't think I've ever made it clear. One thing I do want to bring up is will there ever be anything remotely close to a sequel? I know it's been forever now but finishing the story once again, I realized that King Sombra was never really dealt with. And as much as I hope the prologue was eluding to a time right after the finale with Vinyl "dead", she was very much alive at the end. No complaints about that, too many fics go the route of killing Vinyl so it was a nice change of pace to see her survive.
Wall of text aside. You have no idea how much this story has inspired me to write. Although I keep it to a very close few, I love to write my own stories, or for D&D and whatnot. I hope to reread this story again in a year or so, although I will never be able to experience the first time again, it truly is a classic I will always come back to.
