I thought this was going to have something to do with the Tim O'Brien book at first, and I was slightly disappointed to find that it wasn't. At the same time, I was 'happy' to find that something bearing the same name could bring on such strong emotions in much the same way, making you feel for the tragedy of characters who you've hardly come to know by the time that misfortune strikes them. If the topic could be expanded upon, it would be even better, but as it is, it's still an amazing narrative.
