Scootaloo looked towards her friend, Applebloom in particular. "Of course it is! We're Alicorns now! What could go wrong?"
Sweetie Belle looked nervous. "I don't know about this. Don't you think this is kind of a dangerous idea?" she asked.
Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on! This is totally safe!" she said, waving her hoof over to her latest cutie mark-obtaining idea. Applebloom looked at it with nervous eyes. She panned her vision over the giant ninety degree angle ramp, the flaming hoops, and the shark tank.
"I really think this is a bad idea. At least replace the giant trampoline at the end with a pile of hay!"
"Chickens..." commented Scootaloo. What's the worst that can happen riding down a ramp in a scooter, jumping through several flaming hoops, over a shark tank, and landing on a trampoline? She was about to jump on her scooter and attempt it when an aggravating and all to familiar voice came up from below. The trio looked down to find Diamond Tiara and her sidekick, Silver Spoon.
"Hey Blank Flanks! Are you still trying to earn your Cutie Marks?" Silver Spoon shouted from below.
"Yeah, and we're gonna get 'em!" shouted Scootaloo. "We're all Alicorns now, we could do so many cool things we couldn't do before!"
Diamond Tiara rolled her eyes. "Oh, please, everypony knows you're all going to get Cutie Marks about trying to get your cutie marks! What a useless special talent!" she said. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon burst into laughter.
A thoughtful look appeared on Applebloom's face. "Wait a second," she said. "Why didn't I ever think'a this before? What even are your special talents? Wearin' a tiara? What kinda' special talent is that?"
Scootaloo burst into laughter. "I bet Silver Spoon's special talent is spooning!"
Diamond Tiara opened her mouth, about to respond, but couldn't think of anything to say. The two bullies ran off.

I thought it was a well known fact that SS's cutiemark stood for spooning.
But there are a lot wierd cutiemarks, what about Snips and Snails? And Prince Blueblood's one is also a strange one.
Seriously I always thought that SS cutiemark meant she is meant to become a silversmith. Snips's his stands for being a barber, Blueblood's and Tiara's stands for leadership and Snails is meant to be.... I have no idea.

Silver Spoons special talent is being able to eat with a spoon despite not having hands or unicorn magic. Pretty amazing, but not really something you can get a good pertaining to.

I think Silver Spoon's talent is making cutlery, and Diamond Tiara's talent is making tiaras. Not exactly the best talents, but not the worst either.

I know you hate those two, most people do, but I'm sorry, you can't bash them on grounds which are flimsy at best.
DT is the easiest explanation. A tiara is a form of crown, the various types of which are used in heraldry to denote a person's rank. Diamond serves to describe the _style_ of her leadership - namely firm and unyielding. So she is a harsh ruler - as evidenced by the episode 'Ponyville Confidential'.
Silver Spoon, though has a slightly more difficult mark to interpret. In fact, with the love heart at the top, 'spooning' may, in fact, be a perfectly legitimate interpretation. However, traditionally a 'silver spoon' denoted both wealth and class. So, effectively, Silver Spoon is a talented socialite. Likely, her political prowess will be immense when she grows older. Regrettably, she lives in Ponyville - a place populated with the uncultured riff raff who not only do not value her talent, but likely would actively dislike it. This is probably why she hangs around with DT - she recognises that she would not fit in with Ponyville ruffians, and so associates with the one foal there who can appreciate her talent, or at the very least, tolerate it.
Whilst I don't expect the CMC to know this, I expect the two themselves to know it, and so they should have at the least a poor come-back for them when they attempt that.

You do realize that often when you turn the tables on a bully, the first thing a bully does normally is cry.
And you just created the idea that their bullying is just to hide their OWN insecurities. Or trying to super impose their own self loathing.
And SERIOUSLY DUDE! The CMC just told off two emotionally unstable, selfish little girls who have power that they have no idea how to restrain or show any proper respect for. It's a child's base nature often TO just lash out at what hurts them. That the hurt is justified is NOT part of the equation for emotions.

I don't like those two at all. But I can at least defend Silver Spoon's cutie mark. Ever heard the term "born with a silver spoon in your mouth"? It mean you were born into a wealthy family. So it's a pun. As for Diamond Tiara, there's no excuse for her cutie mark, it's useless.
