6629744 I believe I wrote this as Twilight lived past all those she had once cared for, the loss getting to her and watching as she eventually dies; and the end could have been interpreted as a few different things. I don't exactly remember much about this story, even reading back over it quickly, since it's been so long and military life has kinda taken me away from writing. But, if you have any specific questions I'd do my best to answer whatever they may be.

Primarily, I was confused as to how the mane six could just lay down and die. Do ponies have an off switch or something? And despite this, Twilight's able to outlive her parents?
6630267 Those... are definitely flaws in the story itself, when I didn't give a good background into what happened or the years prior; and as for "Twilight outliving her parents", that would be a normal thing, would it not? For the parents to die first; and the child later on.

Actually, I guess I'm asking how her parents were able to outlive her friends. Either her friends died young or her parents died really old.
