He’s an ordinary background pony like everypony else. A blank flank that resides in a small nameless town where it lightly snows near Luna Bay—a mysterious magical phenomenon and mundane environment with a bleak, wintry grey ambiance.
Remember his parents. Although doting, they would never endorse a young pony with such a dream.

Happy to hear! I'm glad you don't find my writing style too rough. I'm sure it will be here and there in the future, but I'll try to keep it tame and descriptive. I could probably calm down on the colors, too.

I think all authors need some encouragement once in awhile, so I hope these words find you well. I know how arduous the writing process is, and the challenge of working in isolation. And I also know how far encouragement can go. Such an easy thing to give, yet so precious to receive. As for me, I'll be watching your career with great interest.
I think the family dynamic is fun, and I'm happy to see all the characters be introduced to each other so far. I'll be interested to see Spike and Thorax's interaction with Thorn.

Yep, starting now, other characters will interact with each other.
Wow… I never realized I kept most characters separate until you brought it up. Chapter 1 was introductory and showed characters interacting with whom you expect them to. In Chapter 2, the morning unfolded from the perspective of each character. And Chapter 3 was just Nature Thorn and his parents, while Chapter 4 brought about random character interactions like Stargazer and Thorn’s parents. Sinking that in was a pretty fun thought.
As for the next chapter, I must say it stands out as one of my favorites regarding character interaction.
Ah dignity and destiny, such an intriguing thing for water to offer.
Fun to see the school dynamic, as well as have a few reveals of different characters and their interests.
