Dolphin might have been kicked off Steam, but it's not going anywhere.
People who want all their emus in one place and launch from Steam or Retroarch are just too lazy to organize the folders on the desktop or home folder. Or keychain USB.
Valve hasn't done any 1st party masterpiece games in years (aside from tech demos like Alyx and Desk Job), but the Steam Deck, and Proton development more than makes up for it.
