Trixie knows what it is to be determined.

She knows it better than anypony.

She’s always felt it, her whole life.

Doesn't always mean she has to like it.

I'm not gonna lie, this story is MUCH shorter then I though when just reading the synopsis. Please respond to this comment.

Okay, I'm responding. What did you want?

Bravo, Winston!

You truely captured Trixie's way of thinking and expressed her motivations so well. But what I really liked was the change in voice at the end. Now, Trixie really does understand how important friendship can be.

Great work, I really enjoyed it!

For some people asking for help is like pulling teeth, you really caught that feeling here. Good job.

Hi Winston. Please respond to this comment within 12 hours, or some men will visit you with a sack and three yo-yos.

Yay! I always wanted my very own sack and three yo-yos!

...Oh, wait, now that I responded, they're not coming, are they? I blew it... :raritydespair:

That was a good fanfic. 9/10 :trixieshiftright:

9/10 is a pretty good score. I'll take it!

I personally know how hard it is to ask for help when you got pride or regrets. That was a really enjoyable story, and the OG shortfic was a nice pallet cleanser and lense into seeing how you have grown as an author. Keep up the good work.

Heh
Someone has a trait similar to mine!

I really liked that view inside Trixie's head. It makes a lot of sense. And there were a couple paragraphs towards the end that foreshadow some things Trixie later says to Starlight in a short 1K story of mine. My thought was: so this was where she started on that path. This story could almost be a required prerequisite...
:trixieshiftright:

That's a hard question to ask to the pony that was your undoing. A necessary one though, and the first step on a long journey.
