A twist in the Mirror Pool. That is awesome. The answer to their dilemma was in the poem. Think about it, "Doubly mared." This writer knows what I'm talking about.

Midnight, a time when most ponies, and non-ponies, would be fast asleep. Of course, this doesn’t apply to everyone, particularly a group of friends at the School of Friendship. Two of them in particular had decided to stay up tonight and sneak right out of the school.

I probably figured who those two creatures who would cause a little trouble

“The mirror pool?” Ocellus’ eyes widened, “Oh! I’ve read about it! It’s supposed to have ancient magic, and it's also supposed to be very dangerous…”

Yeah especially Pinkie Pie used it and almost caused a huge disaster

“So, uh…” Sandbar said after a moment of silence, “How does the pool work?” After a moment of hesitation, he dipped a hoof into the water. Nothing happened except for a ripple spreading across the surface of the pool. “Do we need a magic word or something?” He paused again, before jumping and flaring out his hooves in a flourish.

I guess they don't know about the saying what Pinkie Pie said before to activate the power of the mirror pool

Approaching the new figure, Sandbar noticed that they seemed to be a copy of himself, albeit slightly different. They had the same color, a nearly identical mane, and even the same cutie mark, but the main difference was that they were a she . Sandbar looked at the earth pony curiously, “Are you me?” he asked.

Something tells me the the words they were saying got a mixed up or something because the Clones did not come out correctly

“Sorry, but you’re wrong,” Gallus said after brief deliberation, “ These clones are different. They have memories! Gallus, the pegasus Gallus, can remember her whole life!”

Yeah and there's some rumors back in the saddle review of season six or seven there was a Pinkie Pie during the interview and I'm assuming that was the Pinkie Pie clone who got away

I got to say this is a pretty interesting story here and also nice to see those kids again so Gallus and Sandbar wanted to check out the mirror pool but they will follow by Ocellus and decided to go with them and it took them a few minutes but they finally found it they had no idea how to activate it well except for Ocellus and said the poem what Pinkie Pie said but I don't know if they say correctly it worked but it turned out pretty differently they expected sandbar clone is a girl and not only Gallus clone is a girl but a pony and Ocellus clone having different color and they have no idea what to do so they ask Starlight and Twilight about the situation Twilight was about to send them back where they belong until Gallus stopped her and said what she was doing was wrong because not only that they're living beings now so they had to talk with Princess Celestia about this and it looks like they made a decision to let the Clone stay here which that's pretty cool and they had to change their names to avoid any more confusion I wonder what the others would think about the Clones but anyway this was a pretty nice story keep up the good work

Wasn't the pool sealed?

I remember Starlight unsealing it for some reason (I think it was to show it off to somepony, probably Sunburst) late in the show's run.
