This story is a sequel to Do It For Her

Although this story is a sequel, knowledge of the original story is not needed to understand this one.

In an alternate universe: Dusk Shine is sick of being treated differently from his friends for being a stallion. What if he were to swap places with the only pony in the known universe who knew what it felt like to be in his hooves?

And what if they couldn't go home?

...what if he didn't want to go home?

This is less of a Rule 63 centered story and more of a slightly serious but-also-not-at-all TwiDash shipping story. Not your favorite ship? You're wrong. TwiDash is the best ship. And I will take that to my grave, thank-you-very-much.

Story is great, but where TF are the Dusk Shine parts? You just totally ignored Dusk Shine.

sorry. Dusk Shine and Twilight are the exact same characters. So similar that in my Do It For Her story, I already wrote the chapters with Twilight and last minute decided to swap her out for Dusk Shine because I thought it was funny. whenever I tried introducing Dusk it wasn't any better or worse, so I just kept him out. sorry.

I am kind of disappointed we didn't get to see who dusk gets with

Rainbow Blitz, because both dimensions are the exact same, only flipped genders.

Man I loved this story thanks for writing it :raritystarry:

Okay. Wasn't sure.

But wouldn't that be rainbow dash x dusk then

Absolutely lovely story TwiDash has always been my favorite so I'm glad to see more writing for it well written and great prompt excited to see what you write next :rainbowkiss:

This was super cute, I love how you set up the stakes of Dusk Shine and Twilight using a dangerous amount of magic so recklesly and suffering the consequences for it and how they accept (and want) their new reality. Its cute that the same story is playing out in the other universe as well.

If you screw your gender-flipped self, does it count as incest or as masturbation?

Read Do it for Her this is a sequel

Now I wonder how Dusk is doing on the other side and slightly surprised neither princess has shown up to confirm the swap. Also where is Spines Celestia mentions him/ her put we don't see the dragon in the story. Beyond this last bit and my curiosity a very well written story

What about Spike though? She can't abandon him!

What's gonna happen with Spike? Isn't he gonna miss Twilight horribly?

The pacing was a bit fast, and Rarity feels like a plot device, but this chapter was realy cute.:twilightblush::rainbowkiss: Nice work.

This was a nice story; I enjoyed it very much.

I do feel that Twilight probably should have asked Celestia to at least send a letter to her home dimension at the end--with a similar letter arriving from her counterpart. Just something to let their family and friends know their original versions are safe, happy, and in love. Otherwise you do have this unresolved issue. What if Dusk actually does get Prince Solaris to send him back?

So what I'm taking out of this, is that what Twilight Sparkle's experiences here is the same as with Dusk Shine, with him beginning a relationship with one Rainbow Blitz? That's what I'm gonna assume.

Yeah. The story is the exact same with Dusk and Blitz.

'Twas a fun, heartwarming story! Have an upvote

About a year ago, Princess Celestia sent Twilight two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala. After some shenanigans, those two tickets turned into seven, one for each of her friends. Elusive had went to work, slaving over the sewing machine for hours on end to get their suits done. For Twilight, however, Elusive went above and beyond, creating a beautiful dress. Yes, the suits for all of her friends were also very stylish, but nothing could quite compare to the way her dress glowed.

Aquí hay un error, debería ser principe Solaris no princesa Celestia.

Unlike Dusk, there wasn’t a foggy doubt in Rarity’s mind that Spines was homosexual. (LESBIAN) Or, at the bare minimum, bisexual. Perhaps it could still be a massive misunderstanding of Spines motives. Perhaps simply Spines just looked up and adored Rarity as a role model. But the way Spines looked at her while helping with dresses, the constant affection, and even sometimes entrances that involved drooling, evidence pointed towards a deeper attraction.

Do I… like mares that way? She asked herself. Is that even okay?

Given gender ratios, lesbianism at least is probably socially acceptable (Lyra & Bon Bon, for instance) if not explicitly legal. Even if legal, homosexuality is probably socially frowned on as Unfair Competition.

:applejackconfused:

“I didn’t know any ponies could eat meat.” Twilight said, watching as Rainbow took another bite.

IRL, horses don't have a gall bladder. This means they can eat lean meat (like fish) but can't digest fat (say, bacon).
