Careful, there are some medical drugs that can have a just as bad or worse withdrawal then some illicit drugs. Good thing you quit.
Plus my favourite move is taking Japan. I believe that is also a ten unit bonus and for some reason, I loved to take Australia and Indonesia. I really need to play risk again. Hopefully it's found online.
I really like the interpretation of Gilda if she were to grow up. It's a gathering of redemption. I'm surprised Trixie isn't here, and Discord!

Take a look at my blog entry about the universe that this story exists in then, because Discord appears in a story called "Psychedelica - Welcome to the Party".
Besides, apparently, both he and Trixie are already somewhat redeemed. That's work done for me lol.
And anyway, with that said, while Trixie herself isn't as powerful as Twilight she is still a talented magician. Who's to say that some big battle in Equestria B's future won't come up that she won't be involved in?

I'll be sure to read it. But I don't agree that Trixie would be in a battle like that. My headcanon is that she is a great illusionist and excells in those types of magics, but Trixie isn't very good at attacking or defending magic or other magic that Twilight is good at. She is a good entertainer and a master of misdirection. So I don't think she would be good in battle. Unless she creates distractions and misdirection with her magic so it throws her enemies for a loop. That would cool.
Also, I could go on about how I don't think Trixie was redeemed or even needed redemption very much, but that discussion would be very long.

No worries, man, we're all entitled to our own headcanon . I think the show handled Trixie's redemption pretty well, but if you disagree that's totally cool. Besides, how boring would the world be if everyone agreed on everything all the time?
Combat Trixie though, you hit the nail on the head; that's exactly what I had in mind when it came to her joining in on whatever huge fight I have planned (or don't have planned...). It's already legitimately canon that she doesn't know the kind of magic that Twilight does and I don't want to just go the generic "Trixie suddenly studied magic really, really hard and became a master wizard" route. Like you said though, I do think she'd still be useful in battle, but as a deceptive distraction and maybe a sneak attacker.
