Not really… I struggle to recall moments in the childhood. Much of it I want to forget. Just wonder how much worse it gets when you put no value to the memories.
It also depends on how old he is at the start (does he just appear as a young adult?) and how often he has an early restart.

I do like all his flexes against everypony even if occasionally unintentionally. It reminds me of my youth when most punishments failed to have any effect at all.
I know man; I came back to revel in the cultural dissonance. This almost reads like a HiE fic (which it might be if he forgot he was once human). From the first chapter the audience is getting in on the action.
I am going to enjoy this.
