To save Scootaloo from her own mind, Spike must discover what he has in common with her.
They'd both prefer to figure it out before the answer becomes "everything".
Written for the 2022 Jinglemas event as a gift for The Iguana Man.
This story is complete except for some editing. A new chapter will be published each day (...or every other day, disability sucks) until it is finished.
This does imply that Equestria has a Lesbos, but Scootaloo has far more important things to worry about.
Fascinating exploration of memory and identity thus far. Eagerly looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Well, this is definitely an interesting hook, though heck if I know just yet where it's all going.
Jinglemas, man. Always finds a way to surprise you and dear lord do I love it for that.
Fascinating little mystery and character piece so far, even if what character it's a piece about is something neither I nor they are sure about right now. Still, it's a brilliant twist on the whole "Two minds, one body" thing, if 'body' is even applicable here...
Okay, I love what you're doing, but it does make it a little hard to figure out the right words to compliment you. Nevertheless, rest assured I am both hooked and grateful for the gift. Thank you.
Hmm, things continue to get ever more intriguing. Also, really like the juxtaposition between finally being able to sometimes sort out who's who with the increasing frequency of simultaneous thoughts. Really gives a sense of "making progress but running out of time" that adds nicely to the tension. At least, that's how it seems to me.
Nice Anno Domini reference

I still don't have much more idea of just what the heck is going any more than Spike and Scoots clearly do, but dang if it isn't super interesting to try and puzzle this out along with them.

Nice.
I was actually channeling Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five (which recently also released a graphic novel version, very digestible).
Oh. Ooooh. Yeah, kinda with Scoots on this one; some things aren't worth remembering.
Fascinating stuff. Looking forward to more when you’re feeling up to it.

I will be soon. Stuff been hard lately.
