Whatever the answer, Sea Swirl is one of Ponyville’s own. For all her quirks, ponies around don’t mind; they’ve seen and are stranger. And for as strange as her friends ‘Sergeant Reckless’ and ‘Screwy’ can be, Ponyville knows better.
They’re a little out of place. But it’s the right place.
Reckless is a tribute to the mare of the same name.

Atch, Mac, that's a terrible thing to do to good tobacco! You've got to keep it sealed or it'll dry out completely and go all acrid. Canning jars are about ideal for the task.

I did actually want to have some fundamental flaws to Mac’s treatment of tobacco in order to demonstrate the knowledge gap Equestrians have on it. He really is letting it go to waste!
