This story is a sequel to Silver Spoons' New Life
Thirty years have passed since she graduated from high school and much has changed. Sweetie Belle is far removed from her once girly nature. She is the police chief of the Canterlot PD, has taken on a more masculine look and has an ax to grind with a former classmate. She has vowed that one final bit of revenge must happen.
This story is the third part of a series centered around Silver Spoon and Sweetie Belle.

Here is the thing, she began to change when she got into police work and at the very end of ShadowFire's "Silver Spoon's New Life" a very subtle hint was dropped that Sweetie was heading in this direction. Ponies change over the decades and she is radically different now compared to the day she dumped Silver Spoon.

This seems a bit rushed what with everyone figuring out the possibility of Sweetie Belle framing Silver Spoon, especially the kids theorizing about it.

Well when it comes to Sunrise Gold, I decided to take him in a direction where he would be a bit more suspicious. Both him and Pink Pretzel know about Sweetie Belle from what Silver Spoon had discussed with him and Pink Pretzel. I took Sweetie 'Silver' Belle in a different direction because from how ShadowFire wrote her there towards the end of his story, she seemed to be a bit more innocent.
The thing is, they had their suspicions over Sweetie Belle because of her being involved in law enforcement for quite sometime and knew about her hatred of Silver Spoon. That is why they suspected her. Now had Sweetie Belle chose music as her path rather than law enforcement, they wouldn't think the first thing about her.
Sweetie's plan will fall apart.

Oh she will! Diamond Tiara has been failing to pay her taxes and Sweetie's plans for her are more conventional, such as having the ERS file charges against her and seeing to it that she gets locked up.

really hope Sweetie Bell will get what is coming for her when it is discorved that it was her that did it all.
for her getting away with like that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and that Twilight is being used by Sweetie, and can't see it even with all of her friends telling her that it is wrong just makes it worse that she doesnt asks questions about it.
its a good story, and i know it will get worse for Silver spoon and D.T. before its gets better, but oh boy i hope its gets better and that Sweetie Well gets what coming for her.

The thing with Twilight, in ShadowFire's "Silver Spoon's New Life," I am uncertain as to whether Twilight ever truly forgave S.S. like her friends did....you'd have to read the story to know what I'm talking about......although I'm guessing you have read the first story "Sweetie Belle's New Experiences" written by me and then the one done by ShadowFire.
Regarding Sweetie, I'm conflicted on what to do as far as she goes. With DT, her methods will be far more conventional. DT is easy prey given her tax evasion....Sweetie won't even have to do much except tip off the ERS. Is Sweetie using Twi, yes and SB is very close to Princess Celestia. Twi is conflicted but I'm thinking of taking her in a direction that will ultimately lead to her reconciling with her friends. Now Scootaloo will side with Sweetie regardless because she hates S.S. almost as much as Sweetie....key word though, almost!

not Saying Twilight needs to forgive S.S. but the way she is getting used by SB, if she discover that she would not need to, she can reconcil with her friends and not forgive S.S. but she still needs to right the wrongs that have been made, and stand up to Celestia, as her friends says, she cares more about the power she has and what Celestia might think of her, then actully standing up for herself.
i am glad that we see that she doubt her actions and that Sweetie Bell doesnt trust anyone, becuase does 2 things can lead to Twilight getting sus about SB and discover everything.
Twilight is the Prinsess of friendsship, and right now that title does not feel like it belongs to her.
looking forward to reading the Sequel, and really hope Twilight goes into a thinking tank

I'm not saying she will forgive S.S. but I do plan on having her think about what happened involving Silver Spoon and the whole situation. Because Silver is rather dainty and wouldn't be able to strangle her dad, even if he had been beaten to the point where he couldn't stop her. She will also start thinking about "why would Silver do that when she'd have everything to lose."
You brought up things getting worse for SS....yes they will. Sweetie has power and has plans on making her life even worse....and she will have a discussion with Celestia over the pardoning of criminals. Sweetie is filled with hatred and driven by her higher authority and like I said, was put there by Celestia so she is obviously on good terms with Tia....and SB plans on making the punishment for SS even worse in ways that nopony would ever imagine.
