I like this story but I was hoping for more Sparity. After a little foreplay Pinkie interrupts and then skips a tired Rarity who looks like she went through several rounds with Spike and you skipped all of them.

This was a great chapter. I'm left wondering if this is going to be a Spike harem story or if Twilight and Rarity will be able to keep Spike to themselves.
I feel sorry for Twilight. Chess is a “thinking” game. With all the blood flow moving toward the lower end, I doubt any stallion is going to have the patience for this kind of game.

Indeed. This is yet another example of the characters taking on a life of their own, for when the idea first came to me I had NO clue how to make it work! But as I was writing the scene, a clear picture formed of Rarity sitting there looking sullen, Twilight being dorky but still sexy, and then it was as if the scene itself was directing my writing after the first customer showed up. As if...a stable wormhole had opened up, and I could actually see into another reality, and I simply wrote down what I saw...
...or maybe I'm just crazy...
