The red text, the "previous chapter" (despite this being the only chapter and not marked as a sequel), and the "Other" tag with little to no indication of who that "other" is.

I am currently in the process of writing the second schapter, planning for the third.
The Sequel will be public in a few days.
This indicate a little known character.
Though I added a few additional tags(subject to change)
Not sure exactly how much the other characters will be appearing in the story overall at this point.
This is for the female character introduced in the prequel(s), whom I have now named April.

I'm fine with the Author Note saying there's a next chapter even though it's not finished/published yet. My issue was with there being a "Previous Chapter" for the first chapter in a story that is not marked as a sequel. It links to Of Rubber, as a Toy or a Brother, so why haven't you used Fimfiction's tools to mark this story as a sequel to that one?

I publish stories unmarked; adding the link and the prequel, after a few days.
If it is the first story, I could link to the story's front page.
Secondly, I could link to the prequel story, or a specific chapter of the prequel in case this is rellevant. Particularly, if the prequal has been linked to multiple sequels.
While rare, this link could also be used to other pages and off-site materials.
The story is now linked as the official prequel.
