Hello everyone! It's story time! God bless you! | Christian, Female, Early 20's, British, Straight, Single. Birthday: Feb 13. Profile pic: pmbsakura37.

At first, Lil' Cheese does not like his Auntie Maud. Maud wants to change her nephew's perception of her.
Maud and Lil’ Cheese finally find common ground, and Lil’ Cheese learns that Maud rocks.

This is a random idea I came up with since I wanted a unique idea for the contest. Then I realized that I wanted to write more stories for Lil' Cheese! Then I realized that Maud and Lil' Cheese's dynamics could come together! Haha!

For Bike's Maud Contest! (I will link to it later.)

Warning: Rock puns! Please look at THIS so you understand which "typos" are actually puns that cause the sentences to look mispelled/to get an idea of how to read these sentances.

Thanks for reading!

My comment shall be...

So many rock puns! :rainbowlaugh:

Pinkie growled under her breath, keeping it quiet enough so her son could not discern what the sound was. Truth be told, Pinkie still did not think that the annoying stallion was good enough for her precious sister Maud, but he made her happy, somehow.

aww, Pinkie still grumbly about Mudbriar after all these years!

You had better come with us, and I better not hear any excuses along the way to our family! I am telling you now that it does not matter that you do not see what I see in Maud. All matters is the fact that she is still your aunt and you are too blind to see her potential!”

oof, this sounds like Pinkie just not being as mature as her own child which is very not good but sadly something that is seen in the real world

Lil’ Cheese flintched, terrified. He had never heard her mom be that furious before at ANYONE, much less him. The reason for her anger fluorite over his head – it surprised him so much that he did not know what to do! He only spoke the truth, and he thought that his mother wanted him to be honest! But despite his best efforts, he had still made her upset. He sat there, immobile; petrified. Finally, the boy sighed, grabbed his suitcase with his prehensile tail, and slowly trotted outside the room, following the trail of tears his mother had made.

and this is the effect that kind of parenting has on the child. not good! poor Cheesecake

Give him a break – he is laterally shaking and crying because his most favorite pony in the entire universe is still glaring like a hawk that is hunting him.”

yeah Pinkie is acting in a way that is really not okay!

“You’ve probably scared him like nopony’s business. And all because of your insecurities. All because of one of the very few and first mistakes he’s ever made in his life. Not cool, Pinkie.”

honestly even calling it a "mistake" is too much, being such a young child

Her offspring smiled.

the way the narration keeps calling Lil' Cheese words like "offspring" and "spawn" instead of something warmer as a healthy mother would think of her child is telling!

The strained smile she gave her mom as a filly when she agreed to spend her breaks doing hard work rather than making friends isn’t the same older smile she gave when she first met Mudbriar.

this does seem to hint that what's going on with Pinkie is her for some reason replicating how her parents raised her with Lil' Cheese

“Thank you, Pinkie. And good morning to you, my favorite sis!”

“Hiya! I’m so glad you’re awake! That must have been a long, internal dialogue!”

okay this is more the kind of Pinkie i expect!

The little cheese-colored colt grinned, literally from ear to ear. Maud was used to that kind of slightly creepy cartoonish behavior due to spending time with his mom, but did not judge him for it.

She smiled inside, Lil’ Cheese actually feeling her happiness and smiled harder. He did not judge her for not showing or not being able to show her emotions aloud. Like Pinkie Pie had taught him about her, he started to get used to Maud’s quirks and took it in his stride.

aww that is nice at least!

“Chalk it up to experience, little pebble,” Maud said, finally smiling at her nephew.

aww that is a cute term of endearment

Before they reached the house, Lil’ Cheese had another thing to say about the two-day discovery:

“Plus, me and Ant have both have a new thing in common, mom!”

“What? Pinkie Pie asked, confused.”

“With all our hearts, we both love YOU!”

that is a nice way to end a story about Lil' Cheese and Maud getting to understand each other more
