I need to follow more authors, I loved Twilight’s Scale when I read it. Didn't realize it had a sequel. This was a great mystery story, the meet cute between two budding necromancer was funny and sweet. The whole thing had your wonderful dark humor. This story is a hidden gem, how does it not even have enough likes to show the ratio? Obviously the algorithm failed.

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate the comment. I think this story in particular was hard to sell because A: it was a sequel (people don't want to start on a sequel) and B: the cast was almost entirely OCs. (no star power) Oh well, but at least I can have a few moments like these with a handful of adventurous readers like you.

Being primarily an OC cast was probably the main thing, but I think that you releasing it all at once had at least some effect. My opinion is that having a story appear multiple times on the front page as individual chapters come out give it more time to find an audience. If a new story finally posts at a bad time or a bunch of other new stories quickly push it off the front page so only a few people see it...they disappear.

Regarding the story, I think Totality could have gone to Twilight for help. After their previous adventure Twi would definately trust her that something bad was happening and it wasn't her fault. But that could also be explained by Gamma and Totality being dumb college kids. Understand why you didn't, probably not as tense a story if you could throw an alicorn at the problem. Giving an in-story reason couldn't have hurt though.

Also, chapters 11 and 12 the same. Thought I clicked the wrong button at first and didn't notice the chapter was posted twice.

I REALLY wanted Twilight in this story, originally as either school admin or even something resembling the roll that I had Moondancer fill. But I realized she's just too powerful of an ally to have on hand. I couldn't have her be able to help and I wanted to establish that but couldn't decide how. Going on a trip to Ponyville to find that she was gone and unavailable felt like a drag on the story but yeah, looking back now maybe just sending her a letter that never got answered in time would have been enough.

I'll fix that duplicate. Thanks.

Glad to hear. This IS probably my most underrated story too.

Hard to say. I only have a vague concept for something at the moment. Same characters after college. Maybe they have a kid. Gamma works on an archeological dig where they release an ancient evil or something. Maybe it can only be defeated through necromancy and they have to teach it to everyone to defend Equestria from an undead scourge and in the end necromancy finally becomes an accepted practice and research field. I never really PLAN to write anything. I just write whatever idea is currently bothering me the most. It's not impossible it could happen eventually...

I love this story, the original characters were all so well written and the story was fun and exciting. I absolutely ship Gamma and Totality

Thank you. That's really nice to hear. My couple of OCs are still a point of pride. You should check out Twilight's Scale too if you haven't already.

I have! I read it before Dead Week, it's also really good! Your writing really intrigues me, I've read most of your stories
